I know you can find a dusk stone in the Team Galactic Warehouse in Veilstone.

I don't remember where you can get a dawn stone however.

AH HAH!!

I just found the Sky plate in the overworld!

That means I've found every plate in the overworld except for the Zap plate! I don't see why they would make only that plate avalible undergorund, so it has to be somewhere!

IIRC Rock Head goes to Hard Rock.
 
Pokemon traded from Pal Park can switch traits upon evolving - there have been reports of Rock Head Rhydons evolving into Lightningrod Rhyperiors. As long as your Rhydon's not Pal Parked, you needn't worry, but if it is - well, hope you get lucky.

EDIT: If you're Pal Parking a Rhyhorn, try and see if you can affect the trait it gets when it evolves into Rhydon by saving before evolution and restarting if it's not the one you want. Please report your results in the research thread!
 
Where's a good place to EV train for Atk in Diamond? I've been trying to fight Shinx but there are too many Bidoofs and Starlies.

I have a question about the PokeRadar.

If I am looking for a Ralts in Route 203/204 south, does an event have to happen first or do I just have to keep using the Radar and get lucky?
 
is there a max number of EV's you can gain per level?

i had macho brace on and should have gained +7 spatk, but when jolt leveled up, it only gained +5 spatk.

and does the pokemon's IV's determine how fast it grows in those stats?

There is no cap on the number of effort points you can gain per level. Perhaps you miscounted.
