[Overview]

- Has terrible stats, only Attack breaks base 90
- Incredibly small move pool
- Virtually outclassed by most other Water Pokemon
- Gained Lightningrod through Dream World
- Fuck yeah

[SET]
name: FUCK YEAH
move 1: Waterfall
move 2: Megahorn
move 3: Return
move 4: Ice Beam
item: Life Orb
ability: Lightningrod
nature: Lonely
EVs: 252 Atk / 92 SpA / 164 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

- Waterfall is more accurate, while Aqua Tail is more powerful
- Megahorn and Return are its only other viable physical options
- Ice Beam allows Seaking to hit Altaria and Torterra for 4x super effective damage

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

- Lightningrod is preferred ability in order to remove one of Seaking's weaknesses
- Swift Swim is a viable alternative on a Rain Dance team.
- 160 Speed allows Seaking to outpace Adamant Torterra
- Hydro Pump can be used over Return
- Needs help taking out bulky waters and defensive walls
- Bulky water-types handled by Grass Pokemon (Cacturne / Torterra / etc)
- Defensive walls can be roasted by Magmortar.

[Other Options]

- Bounce
- Choice Band
- Poison Jab
- Agility

[Checks and Counters]

- Bulky Waters
- Powerful Physical Attackers
- Shedinja (If its not running Bounce)

Uhhh yeah this thing looks OK until you put it next to Samurott... I guess Lightningrod is kinda cool though and you can switch in on HP Ground Magneton and stuff. I would put it a bit faster though, above Adamant Torterra at least. De-slash Aqua Tail, it's not worth it. Is hitting Altaria really important enough to sacrifice so much bulk?

I reeeeeally don't see what Agility is doing that Lanturn doesn't.

Seaking has bulk? 80/65/80 Defenses doesn't scream bulk to me. I will edit the EV Spread so Seaking outspeeds Adamant Torterra.

Agility set is almost completely outclassed by Lanturn. The only difference is that if Seaking gets a Special Boost, it actually becomes more powerful than Lanturn (with less weaknesses at the cost of not having a secondary STAB option)

Lonely 0 / 0 Seaking has a lot less bulk than Adamant 156 / 0. The EV spread I'd suggest, though, is 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Speed, which lets you beat Adamant Torterra as well as Mesprit, Altaria and the like.

Removed Agility (figured I would end up doing that). Would like other QC input about the EV spread on the first set since Seaking really has piss poor defense

In checks and counters you mention Shedinja and poison jab but it isn't affected by poison jab leaving bounce the only way to hit it.

Actually I've seen Agility and it worked decently well, I don't know if it warrants a whole set though, might do some testing and get back to you on that.

Can you mention Hydro Pump in the AC as an option over Return? Hydro Pump hits pretty hard after a SpA boost from Lightningrod, and has STAB. Base 180 power is gonna hurt...

also, why the fuck does this thing get Lightningrod i just don't get it ?_?

I still think Agility will suck major balls but test it for sure, and if its good when the tier shifts you can add it later (or just write it separately).
