NOC Medieval Mafia - Game Over: Majora's Maskians Win

Edited my read on Billymils so it makes sense. Also B_T, I'll lynch if you want, I have some hunches.

Just some of you seem to be fighting over uncle sam and ditto and I'm not sure if either of them are mafia, (there, i said it) just ditto seems to be pushing it a bit too far in terms of defending himself and is really being a bit too out their for me too see him as a shoo-in villa.

Anyway, due to be reasoning in my previous post, I'll @@send Wickdaggler to Aussie@@. The ultimate toture (unless you go to South Quensland, Victoria, or Sydney), plus it's what the brits did to all of prisoners in the old days.
 
Imo saying 'nuh-uh don't lynch i'm village YOU'LL SEE!!' is a pretty weak defense and is only making you look more suspicious in my eyes. Please explain why we should think you are village. @@Vote Ditto@@

I have no further thoughts for tonight, bed time. I have read events between my last post and this, and will post further thoughts on the players in more depth when I arrive home out of class tomorrow, including what has been posted in this gap.

In the meantime, I expect, in fact, demand more contributions from the users with 1 post:

Please make a post if you are on during this timeframe, or I will be forced to conclude your scumbuddies did not script a suitably neutral and unsuspicious response before my return.

in this timeframe as well, with some actual thought into them. My requirements are: you cannot cite someone else's opinion you agree with, unless you provide your own reasoning for why. Cite posts you find suspicious, or opinions you wish to counter.

Also Lady Salamence if you could please say something besides your desire for billymills' semen to flood your loins, I would appreciate some legitimate contributions from you.

Please provide in the timeframe of over half a day these posts so we have further information to analyze with regards to the newer, quieter players. Certainly the bravado old users have tl;dred plenty and given much thought - now I request the newfags give their early thoughts for consideration. Failure to provide worthwhile thoughts while activity is shown elsewhere will cast you under suspicion, as, I am SURE you can all look at SOMEONE'S post and find some trend or something to point out, whether you think they are pro-town, anti-town, or buddying someone too closely.

That is all for now, I look forward to your input so I can post my own scummish thought on why each one of you is probably either an idiot or just new.

edit: please stop @ ditto, NOBODY FURTHER vote him, I do NOT want majority hit before we get a better read on the less-talkative users. Be cast under suspicion if you bus the lynch or rush it. While Ditto giving up the go is very odd, it is possible he needs to be lynched, or is vanilla, and really does not care, but as his reads are not particularly interesting if memory serves, determing what he shows up as is rather useless at this point, and this game would be better served by getting another post out of the silent users before D1 ends, so we have more to go on D2.

Since you idiots seem to be insisting on a Crux post on D1, when there are absolutely 0 substantial tells that can actually lead to something and for some reason you are all acting like pretentious twats, I shall give you a post on what I think of people.

askaninjask - Seems pretty clean. His posts are giving me that vibe, I like what he is doing obviously I have no idea though since it is fucking D1.
billymills - MAN Lady Salamence wants your dick. IDK what to think about you man, I would love to say you are town, but I am definitely getting some mixed signals here.
Blue_Tornado - Scum or retarded.
Brammi - Posts have been too vague and generally irrelevant for me to really have any real reads at this time.
Coronis - Or whoever his sub was. Seems clean to me, getting vibes of town from his posts.

Ditto - Probably clean, the reason he is doing what he is, is simply because you guys are being fucking retarded and ignoring simple, logical responses and taking fucking everything as scum vibes. "I was responding to a question" Hey guys guess what he was you numbskulls.

You will notice that I did not elaborate much on my reads, this is because I do not want to and I'm just stating what I am feeling at this current time. Basically all my calls are purely based on gut feeling and what I know about User X and also what I think an appropriate reaction would be.

I like Ditto's analysis of structure and every single person who called him out about it needs to shut the fuck up and hit themselves in the head with an anvil. Same goes for yeti's analysis.

Basically I think there is very little reading that can be done except for finding the tiniest flaws in someone's post and I think that posting like this is exceptionally useless.

Yo, when someone wants you to post, they're asking for your input on who you think is scum and why. Giving us all your :thoughts: on everyone without explaining them is equal to not posting at all.

Talk about the structure is anti-town because it can set town up to make wrong assumptions for most of the game, and is a good way to avoid posting content that actually tells us your allegiance. I would like to hear why it's pro-town and why it's stupid to call someone out for it.

What makes it worse is you completely missed the entire point of my post which was "I really have no reads on anyone neither should you everything is nearly completely insubstantial at this point".

Also, calling people out for not posting properly is also not posting at all.

Talking about the structure is not anti-town, it helps develop future strategies and possibly directions the village could take

askaninjask [8]: Fairly good contributor to discussion. Seems to hold a similar stand on D1 as me in that overall this Day gets us nowhere except as a starting marker to compare to on D2. Although has yet to post his over thoughts on players as a whole. Could be a mafia pretending to be active, but I get an overall clean vibe from him.
billymills [13]: Looking back on his posts, none of them have been particularly helpful as a whole. Several of them are just "okay, now I'll lynch this guy" or looking for items. As soon as he became suspicious (his own words) he also seems to point me out as scummy. Whether trying to use me as a distraction, or simply stating an observation, that I can't tell ya. Hasn't really done anything in my opinion.
Blue_Tornado [28]: He probably won't like this because he said to only post scum reads, however since people keep asking me to post my thoughts on players instead of game design (which I stopped doing before half of you asked 9.9), but I don't care if he likes it or not ^_^ I'm probably too biased at this moment to post a good read on him.
Brammi [11]: I don't really think Brammi is used to Smogon Mafia personally. For my experience, it is bad for power roles to claim in a NOC because that will often just make them Hook/Kill targets. Although I do agree with his lynch on wick for suggesting a no lynch after it was explained that NL is always bad in NOC. Can't get an incredibly good read unfortunately.
Coronis [6]: Hasn't really said too much that is helpful. Echoing and then defending echoing. Also, don't know why he brought up twins all of a sudden. Probably noobtown.
Crux [4]: Only the last post he's made has anything helpful in it, although not too indepth. This is probably cause he's Australian. No read really. Seems to agree that a little trolling is always fun.
Ditto [18]: This user is cute :D
Infinity.Cypher [0] Staraptor Call [1]: Infinity.Cypher literally did nothing and while Staraptor Call only has 1 post, it is actually a pretty good post. Getting a villy vibe from him.
Jalmont [2]: Only 2 posts, but pretty good posts that neither bandwagon (from what I can see) and produce a little discussion.
Kaxtar [2]: I'm surprised he thinks I am promoting discussion when no one else does, but I guess I'll take it. 2 posts, an initial read list and an update of it. Not too much actual discussion though.
kingofkongs [7]: Hasn't been promoting discussion really, but can you actually expect that from kok. He tried prodding a bandwagoner and then seemed to just give up on it. Prodding others without really talking himself.
Lady Salamence [3]: Basically all LS has done so far is claim Announcer, when I don't think anyone actually wanted her too. No counter claims so far, so I guess LS might actually be the announcer. She really shouldn't have claimed though.
Leethoof [4]: I have no clue what Leethoof is doing. Admitting to being noob and I can't seem to argue with that. A small reads list, but nothing too significant. No strong read.
Metal Bagon [3]: Rather indecisive on everything and quiet. 3 posts, minor read list. I kinda wanna say scum because he is always quiet when he is scum, but apparently he always has been scum so he might just be quiet. No strong read.
MK Ultra [4]: First, I never said don't lynch me. I'm perfectly fine with being lynched. Haha! looking over your posts, you don't seem to have contributed a thing! You're simply asking other people to talk in your posts without saying anything meaningful yourself.
nEsp [1]: 1 post and I think I made my stance on him clear in my reply to him.

I was gonna do everyone, but it is getting way too late and I wouldn't want to make people wait anymore.

That's wrong outright. Accusations are flying around and people have already established connections to others. It is impossible for you to not have any reads unless you're not looking to have any. And, as you know, not scumhunting is not town.

Calling people out for not posting is prodding them to post more, therefore letting town get a better read of them. I don't have to post my own thoughts in every post I make, as long as I do post them when relevant. I can't see an established opinion from you so far. And no, your buddying up with Ditto (and yeti yeah yeti too how could silly crux forget!) does not count because it is unexplained, therefore nonexistent.

What 'direction' does speculation over the structure of the game, while having 0 ways of verifying said structure at present, give us? The only thing it gives us is more :words: that get us nowhere. Which is why layout speculation early-game is universally frowned upon, and in Ditto's case, scummy, because that's his replacement for actual content so far.

Aaand Ditto posts stuff. This is why I hate lists, because they usually promote laziness ==> badly explained reads due to how lengthy they are. Who would you vote for right now?

It's posts like this that convince me that billymills is either trying to act suspiciously and get himself lynched or really just does not care about this game. Now that everyone has posted something, I am going to go after the people I feel are legitimately the best lynch targets for Day 1. And that starts with billymills.

I really don't know what to say about Ditto because he "gave up" way earlier than a mafia man would give up imo, but his behavior is really strange and if he does not explain it I think he is also a pretty good lynch target. It's also worth noting that Yeti is still buddying Ditto quite a bit, so lynching Ditto would give us a much better read on Yeti as well.

For now however, billymills' behavior is far more unexplainable and strange, and that is why I feel he is the best lynch option at the moment. It is also worth noting that we gain some insight into what Metal Bagon, zorbees, and Blue_Tornado might be because they have all either defended him or gone along with him at some point. Lady Salamence I would say this for as well, but in my opinion she would be the worst lynch at the moment because it is fairly clear she is the announcer and announcer tends to be a village role.

tbh the rest of the town are pissing around and we won't get anywhere until we start getting serious about pressure. However it seems to be the consensus to be overcautious.

I can't stress this enough. L-1/2 pressure is a GOOD thing provided people are sane enough not to hammer unduly. The threat of hammer if someone screws up is more telling than any half assed case or defense which is all we are getting from everyone in the game. And it is unreasonable to expect more until this game starts getting some actual pressure thrown aroundin the forms of wagons, counter-wagons and the like.
 
Wow, I managed to plow through the five-ish pages. At last!

The thoughts I have now:

Either wickdaggler wants to die because he can't be bothered with this game, or he's trying to disguise himself as a troll, because who'd want to waste a lynch on a troll? Not sure if I want to give him credit to being smart enough to come up with the latter, though.

GG LS for ignoring every other poster in this thread. We have a clear MVP here, folks.

Now, I'd like to direct some more attention to Brammi, who now wants the mayor/doublevoter to claim. I cannot express how much of a Terrible Idea this is, especially with the potential threat of a persuader around. First of all, it once again shrinks the potential PR pool. Now, the other thing is that with a persuader, which may or may not exist in this game, the mayor claiming essentially gives the mafia an extra pair of votes. There literally is no significant benefit to the mayor claiming.

One could chalk this up to culture difference, but seeing as Brammi not only posted his demand for the mayor to step up after the persuaded claimed, but insistently defended his demand, I believe that he's role fishing. @@Lynch Brammi@@.
