Haha, yes.

I'm pretty doubtful about this, as it's never been implemented in any Pokémon game. If it were to be added, it would probably increase the opponents' levels and moves, but I don't see it happening. What I can see is it being more difficult than BW.
It just takes time, give GF a few years and maybe we'll actually get difficulty in a Pokemon game

The most difficult game IMHO was Colosseum, due to the fact that Doubles was a completely new playstyle and the entire game was played...in, well you guessed it, Doubles. If BW was more heavy with Triples/Rotations, it would probably be a bit hard for veterans to pick up on the new battle formats. An actual "Hard Mode" seems implausible, but a rise in difficulty compared the first BW would be welcome (to some).

Then again, you could just Nuzlocke it if it's not hard enough. >.>
Well... isn't precedent kind of moot considering these are the first direct sequels of a main Pokemon game?
What happened to GSC?

GF did mention that they will be developing games for both the 3DS and the DS. Is there a possibility of Kyurem's forms having different BSTs? This could be uber...considering that they will get ice burn and freeze shock.

See, your argument might have worked if there was justification to get a 3ds outside of new pokemon/zelda games on it. There are essentially no significant titles for the 3ds whatsoever besides. The gameboy color to gameboy was a huge shift in graphics, the gameboy to ds was huge from the implementation of touch screen/2 screens and even more graphics and buttons. The ds to 3ds has slightly larger screen resolution and a 3d aspect that doesnt work unless you have the screen angled perfectly to your eyes. It's just safer and easier for everyone to have this new pokemon game ds compatible. Now if there's a huge new shift like pokemon gen 6, then it would make sense to see it in a new console.

That's just ranting. The 3DS is miles ahead of the DS and PSP. The 3DS can do 30 mil polygons/sec. DS? Just under 120,000 poly./sec. Small advancement? I think not. Besides there are some great games for the 3DS as well.

I only want three things with these games:

- Simultaneous Japanese/American/European release -- or at least more like a month or two apart, not six months as per usual. Cuts down on pirating and makes it easier to plan around a potential VGC 2013. The fact that they have already announced the English version of the game makes this one promising.

- Improved random wifi and local battle options -- I see all these battle videos of folks trying to do local GS cup battles at lv. 100 because it's currently impossible to do a true GS cup battle with the battle options in BW. Maybe bring back GS cup and other battle modes from HGSS like Little Cup. Custom rulesets like in the Stadium games would be ideal but they've never done it on the cartridge before so one can only hope.

- Sky Drop and Sleep mechanics fix -- hopefully that was the very first thing Game Freak thought to do when this game was in production. >_>

1. HAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD ONE! But seriously, a game being released the same day everywhere has the same odds of Han Solo successfully finding and rescuing Luke Skywalker after he escaped from the Wampa. (I'm BORED ok?)
2. Honestly, just make those restrictions yourself. LC, GS Cup, etc. was only over local wireless.
3. I'm 99% sure the sleep mechanics were supposed to change...

these ardent the first direct sequels. at least, its not confirmed yet. take platinum for example. new game. same story (with the exception of girintina), 1 new forme, thats it.
this migt be a direct sequel, but in my opinion, i like pokemon games the way they are; no linked storyline, a great (if unoriginal story), and easy to grasp for noobs (like me!)

Having a earlier release date for the other language versions than 6 months wait would be great. They might introduce DW abilities as having very low (5% chance) of popping up in the wild for the rest of Gen V pokes.

I don't get it why everyone is so upset about it not being released for the 3DS. I'll admit it's a letdown 'cos I have one myself and I wanted to play 3D, but mainly Black and White because that's where my passion lies. I don't think they'll retire the DS in this gen, but maybe in gen 6 they will.

I hope this game has something similar to top trainer cafe in Platinum. It would be nice to be able to rebattle the gym leaders. Also, I'm really hoping they bring back the vs. seeker.

Why do the American versions come out so slowly, especially for a "third game" like this one? Is there really that much new dialogue to translate?

The issue lies in the fact that today is the anniversary of the 3DS's release (look it up) and Nintendo is showing barely any interest at all in it, even though it far surpasses the regular DS lite or DSi in just about everything (price and # of exclusive games).

Jesus H Christ ! This is going to be so awesome ! Hope it brings some new move tutors like Platinum. Also, the fused formes look Uber cool. Looks like its time for Kyurem to finally kick some ass. Those are possibly the coolest mons I've seen.

Also so many people viewing this thread ! 183 o_0

Thats because Ash is a perma 10 year old(that still doesn't get what romance is. did you see that Cottonee pairing episode in best wishes) that sucks ass at battling, never tries to catch legendaries, uses NFE pokemon through 98% of a region and then insists on starting over once he finally gets all fully evolved pokemon. Seriously, either Ash needs to step it up and win the Unova league or we need a new main character. I'm sick of watching a loser lose. Also should't Pikachu be level 100 by now? I know it's a Pikachu, but it's quick attack should of broke every bone in Ash's best wishes rival's Snivy.

In conclusion. The anime sucks so don't bring any part of it to the game because no one wants to play a game where your character sucks
I find that after you finish the main story line it gets stale, maybe add a story line that's last through the post story. Or get rid of the stupid ten year kid trying to win the Elite Four is not fun anymore Game Freak.

That's nothing, there used to be up to 240 people viewing this thead lmao!! Maybe Kyurem might get a third forme with all three members fused together and that could be the original dragon itself. I would definitely like to see that happening, since there is still a shitload of stuff to reveal about this game. Also, does the programming allow one to also take a peak at how many formes a pokemon specifically gets? I know people found coding that Kyurem gets a new forme, but there should also be coding in there that specifies how many formes a pokemon is getting as well. I had no idea about the 2 formes until around this afternoon, and I and probably everyone else thought it was going to be one forme.

While it might not be possible to use/capture the "original" dragon, it is quite possible that there will be a cut-scene involving it.

Just give us the Superpower tutor & I'll be happy. Klingklang, Durant, & Escavalier want revenge on B&W's moveset trolling.

Oh that and lower Scald's effect rate to 10%. I mean really...30%? Feels more like 90%.

With Black Kyurem and White Kyurem being the names, I can see so many people confused which is which (including me). Oh Black Kyurem, which one is that? Is it the one that is literally black? Or is it the one with the Reshiram because Reshiram was the version mascot of Black. Why couldn't they have just called it Kyurem-Z or Kyurem-R or something. They already made the game title and the version mascot confusing, this is making things worse...

I like White Kyruem, not so big on Blackyruem, but i think its cool these are actual sequels and not just a third gamee thrown into the mix. Should be interesting to see what happens!

Pokemon's as difficult as you make it to be. Go through the game with less-than-perfect Pokemon, then see how fun and easy it is. I see lots of people go through with full OU teams with perfect movesets and then see them whine about how easy it was. I mean really people...hello???

------------------------------------

Obviously these games are sequels. B/W ended on an cliffhanger note with N mysteriously leaving. We probably see what happens to him after he runs off with his legendary Pokemon.

I just wonder if we'll be keeping our Pokemon teams...if the region will be any different...who we'll play as. Its all a mystery.

Oh and one last note... THIS IS FREAKING WEIRD! I did NOT expect this. I thought they'd be smart enough to move to the 3DS already. Guess they're taking their time. I wonder how critics will feel... they're rather "meh" about the 3rd games... but will something like a sequel change anything for them?

I am really curious to see if they are going to do anything about the 2 signature moves of Kyurem. I mean they are charge moves, and we all know how they suck, so maybe they will introduce an ability that allows all charge moves to be used in 1 turn.
It makes sense, seeing as most, if not all, signature moves of legendary pokes, are very good and powerful moves, unlike these sucky charge-up moves.

Can you remember any move of a legendary that was a game mascot that was bad? Even Roar of Time was useful in-game...
