no answer before, so i'll ask again...

Where do you get the effort ribbon in D/P? or whatever it is that tells you when you've used your EV points up

You go to Sunyshore city. Go to the store where you buy seals. There's a woman behind a counter. Talk to her and she'll give it to your Pokemon.

Will-o-wisp yes the other two no, But it can learn thunderbolt off a tm. No way of learning giga drain. Breed a duskull that knows will-o-wisp with a gengar or gengar line so it could learn it.

Actually it can learn giga drain from tm. Sorry so will-o-wisp from breeding with duskull and giga drain and thunderbolt from tm. last move should be night shade.

Does Light Ball double Pikachu's base attack and Special attack, or does it work like Pure power in that it doubles the actual stat/number? (Ie. 250 Sp. attack gets doubled to 500)

I hate to ask this, but I searched like four or five pages of forum posts and a guide of formulas and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Do critical hits ignore positive/negative status changes, and in either case, how is final damage effected (*2 or *4 for sniper)?

it only iugnores negatives i think

Yeah, I saw one or two "I think" type answers, so I'm still kind of looking for definite stuff. :X

Thanks, though, that's quite awesome if that's true.

Is Belly Drum affected by Intimidate?

I don't see why not. If you used three Swords Dances (which I believe maximizes attack) and then a Salamence came in on you, your attack would still lower by one stage, correct? Think of Belly Drum as 3 SD's in one, an intimidate will lower your attack down to +5 stages instead of +6.

To repeat my question, does anyone know if Light Ball doubles Pikachu's base Attack and Sp. Attack stats, or acts as a "Pure/Huge Power" skill, doubling the actual stat number?

It works the same way as Pure Power and the Thick Club. A pikachu with 180 attack will be calculated as 360 attack, etc.

Where is the Choice Specs found? I thought it was battle tower, but all they have is the Band and the Scarf

Choice specs are given to you by talking to the guy in the northwestern house in---------------------------->
Celestic city, talk to
the man wearing glasses
anytime between 4am and
10am to receive these.

It's more than +6, I know that much. You can be intimidated 4 times and still get +6 after Belly Drum, so it's at least +10..

I was always under the impression that belly drum maxed out your attack (+6) no matter what level it was at beforehand. So you can go from -6 (three charms or something) to +6 in one go.

I agree that you can get a potential +10 boost from belly drum if you are intimidated but the max is +6 levels of your actual stat, which turns out to be 400% I think.

IV battling involves taking low levelled pokemon to the wifi battle tower and choosing the level 100 option. This allows a person to check the exact IVs of a pokemon.
