Not to be critical, but you swept someone that didn't know that you can select any abilities in balanced hackmons; a single game against a beginner does not prove much. Yes Slaking can sweep unprepared teams, but so can Dragonite, Volcarona, or Terrakion in OU.

I was wondering why he though espeed slaking was cheating
 
In truth, my response was a bit harsh. Slaking is defiantly a driving force in the metagame, weather or not he is banworthy is something that we have yet to explore in full detail.

The closest thing to a counter that slaking has is ImposterBlissey, and itself which only works if you win a speed tie

IMO,Crunch is better on Slaking.
The most used ghost atm is Giratina and Shadow Sneak is very underwhelming
compared to Crunch.I tried out both and I would much rather exchange +1 Prio for a 2HKO on Gira.
Off that topic,I played against a SturdyShed with Taunt and Sun Assistance and completely walled my team while he set up.
 
I've been playing around with Technician Mewtwo. I know, I know, it is a stupid idea. But I kind of wanted to see if it was possible to make Technician playable. As we all know, Balanced Hackmons is the perfect environment to test out new ability, mon, and move combinations.

This is a rather epic set if they are lacking magic coat, and you have RS and weather support.



Other really good sets I have used are:


Shadow Tag Latios - OHKO on Giratina with Draco, watch out for spore though.

Pure Power Shift Gear Dialga/Slaking/Terrakion/any other good attacker - This is pretty OP imo, but blissey does bad things to it.

Shadow Tag Gengar W/encore - Comes in on any slaking barring scrappy or shadow sneak and sets up your choice of set up. Also comes in on Shedinja and some setup moves like SR.

Shadow Tag Slaking - Revenge killer with Fake Out and Extremespeed, also kills Deoxys-S leads before they can do anything if you run life orb.

Prankster Giratina W/Heart Swap - Common but amazing set, I run this on nearly all my teams.

Pure Power Giratina-O W/belly drum + priority - Pass this a sub and you can 6-0 teams pretty easily. Also golurk can do this role as well with resistance to sandstorm and a free item slot. Again watch out for blissey.

No Guard Magneton/Magnezone - Zap cannon really puts holes in teams when combined with blizzard and focus blast.
 
It can't exactly switch in so it's revenged by it. Also, if Slaking runs substitute it can beat blissey in a pinch. Imposter blissey is hugely centralizing imo, but it isn't unbeatable.
 
Unaware Shuckle can beat Slaking, the same with Unaware Giratina

Really bulky poe, I normally manage to BP +3/+3 defenses on him but he's amazing still without them, Coil makes him incredibly bulky and patches HJK imperfect acc, with Outrage aving the only purpose of beating Giratine, I'm thinking of removin it for a better move since giratina it's still ble to survive if she has Unaware or priority Hearth Swap (and she's the only common ghost), but i've managed to take on some of them on the swtch in for the 2HKO, doesn't care about impoter blissey as Facade loses half it's power and Lugia can set up on the HJK
 
What do you guys think are Standard sets atm?
I'll post 1 or 2 tomorrow.

Nvm, its way too hard to identify one standard pokemon set.
Instead Standard roles would be easier.

Shadow Tag

Perish Song
Recover
Spore/Magic Coat
Protect

Pokemon Suitable for the Role: Giratina,Registeel,Lugia

You get the idea.
 
Just theorymoning here.....

It seems everyone is saying no guard Deoxys-s is broken, but all you do is stick a pokemon with sturdy on your team and give it sheer cold. Deoxys-s's sheer cold will fail to ko and you can ko beck with sheer cold(which will always hit thanks to no guard)

It should all work, except for choosing abilities

We'd just have to edit the trainer.tp to change the abilities
