You think you can win those games? The other side of the coin is if Newcastle win all those games and don't get CL football would be a crime! Tottenham in the driving seat it's up to them whether they want it.

Oh and latinoheat, idk who told you that but Marin has been pretty good for Werder Bremen.Just saw a few videos and apparently,he's good at playing behind a striker and setting him up,is a good finisher and is a decent free kick taker.

I think Luis finally discovered that he should aim for the goal and not the wood-work in order to score. Pair him with a player like Cavani (possible if napoli miss out on the champions league) and watch liverpool go.

and finally newcastle showing their true level. tottenham as well. 2 of the 3 most lucky teams in the premier league. unfortunately, both of them don't have eternal luck like man utd.

Marin was one of the better Werder players this season, but he still has been pretty poor (like most of their players) in most of their games (1 goal, 5 assists so far). Plus, he's REALLY weak physically.

freaky results.
wigan giving out a thrashing never happens (they usualy get the thrashing when they are involved in a thrashing) a 4-4 again and lolerpoo winning

Marin is incredibly inconsistent. On form he's unplayable and one of the finest dribblers around, but he can be shrugged off the ball pretty easily. Kinda weak defensively too.

It's a gamble, but not the worst one in the world. What I'm sad about is that this move means there's now a much smaller chance that we get to dump Walcott at the Bridge and take the 20 mil.

The guy gets his numbers over 10 games or so and is shit the other times. Too streaky to be a regular on a contending team imo.

Put it this way, I don't actually have a problem with keeping him as long as he isn't a guarenteed starter. Thing is, he reportedly wants somewhere around 100k a week, and I'm not sure we should be paying that much to a borderline starter.

I freely admit though, I'm intrigued by the thought of him playing purely as a striker, instead of his sort of winger-striker hybrid role right now.

Being physically weak is kinda helpful as it makes the ref sympathise with you when you're fouled, and being the good dribbler that he is,with his pace opponents will often have to foul him(like Ramires) so it's not reaaally a flaw.Ramires and Mata have the same shortcoming but they're pretty good.

Walcott has done well this season but I agree with sharkz, he's got no consistency. When the ball comes to him he looks like he doesn't know what to do. He seems to only know to knock the ball forward and run, 1 out of 10 times the full back is in exactly the position that this would work against and Theo gets in behind and looks really threatening. 9 out of 10 times the full back just comes across and blocks him off. Some matches Walcott could give the ball away every time he touches it.

He really needs to learn some new tricks, such as feigning that movement and instead cutting it inside. Look at Valencia, defenders don't know what to do with him because he can knock it past them or he can cut it inside or he can cut it inside then knock it past them. Every time he gets the ball he starts the mind games with the full back. Walcott's pace could be such a deadly weapon in these mind games if only he knew to cut it inside. But he only has the one trick right now and it's pretty much a lottery whether it'll work in a match or not. That's the kind of consistency Wigan have, not what a potentially title chasing team should have. I haven't changed my opinion yet that Walcott should either be converted to a CF poacher or sold, because he isn't good enough on the wing unless he starts to use his pace intelligently.

STURRIDGE FOR CF! FUCK TORRES!

EDIT:Omg Torres scores again.......dare i say......is he back? :P

Is that Ferreira I see at CB o_O

I would have thought you would have someone like Essien stand in back there, iirc he played there a couple times in the past.

edit: wait it's Bosingwa. god I can't recognize some of these guys.

I am going to laugh till i start vomitting blood and my jaw falls off if he gets a hattrick
