actually after this match i have a better feeling netherlands will win euro; gomez, muller and schweinsteiger were all disappointing imo and robben was simply amazing, if they keep it up im gonna be real happy next month

edit: eh, robben was by far the best player on bayern's side, yes he missed chances but he created a lot of them and if netherlands has van persie/huntelaar/sneijder to finish off those chances it should be no problem

i don't get why you're saying robben was the best. he squandered away like 5 shots that were wide by a mile

He repeatedley tried to cut inside and shoot on his left and it either got blocked or went high and wide.

This exactly, I was hoping I wasn't the only one who noticed it. Bayern Munich overall were not creative, 43 shots to Chelsea's 9, but just 7 on target to Chelsea's 3. I still laugh at that beach ball during Robben's penalty lol.

Robben was fucking trash LOL. What match were you watching? Seriously.

I love watching him play.. doing everything in his power to not use his right foot.

tbh Drogba was terrible for the game, but just popped up for one goal and the penalty.

He didn't have much support, he was trying to hold the ball up in the first half and he did fine. He's a striker, it's easy to confuse 'terrible' with just being removed from the action.

Lol at silly united fans (rey and phalanx) whining about anti-football and parking the bus.

ummm 1) im not silly, that was the luckiest finish ive ever seen since i started watching football

2) if you say parking the bus is not anti football and shit then youre the silly one

3) im not a united fan, i dont support any team from the premier league

4) fuck off

Man City a week ago would love to say hi.

play to win, if 'parking the bus' is such a problem the rulebook should be updated

erm .... *ahem* thats a bad idea >_>

theres no way way to identify the level of bus parking. what would the punishment be?

theres no set line between parking the bus and not parking the bus that can be easily identified. this would just lead to referees making crucial decisions while attempting to remain impartial. currently fifa is looking for ways to remove human error (goal-line technology etc), what youre suggesting goes against all of that.

no offence but, as i said, its a bad idea

jesus heist, you must be a blast at parties

also, anyone noticed how the entire mood of the game changed (for the better) the minute torres set foot on the field? im surprised he didnt come on earlier

yeah but when did torres come in? after bayern's goal. they HAD to score so I don't think it has anything to do with torres but more with the fact that they had to score.

also robben was definitely better than gomez muller and ribery, at least he created a lot of chances and his 21st minute chance would have gone in if not for the post

me neither cheaser back off plz xD

but yea:

and you call yourself a fucking German Schweinsteiger...

the nig is still in every way a german bro. Schweinsteiger will forever be class. Just remember euros is right around the corner.

edit: sure torres came in after bayern's goal, but it was his little burst of energy that set the momentum in chelsea's favor for sure.

What. Ribery was better than Robben in almost every way possible lol, at least thats what like everyone ive spoken to has said. If anything, they both played at the same level, but no way you can say Robben did "definitely better". You just seem biased towards your country.

man city didnt park the bus relying on his keeper and post luck to save absolutely everything

Which is why they got fucked at the allianz arena and we learnt from their experience.Gomez was the most disappointing player on the field imo.Bayern would've been 2-0 up very early on if it wasn't for him.Yes,Robben was wasteful but it isn't entirely his fault;Cole and Bertrand made sure he had nothing else to do but run across and shoot. In fact that's the very reason Bertrand was included in the first place.Ribery only seemed to play better because Bosingwa sucks at defending and Kalou didn't help him out enough.Drogba was not 'terrible' for most of the match;it's just that everyone was behind defending most of the time. What do you expect him to do? Dodge and muscle through the Bayern defence all by himself? He held up the ball and kept possesion as well as he could. He even tried one long range effot because he had no support.Bayerns best player was Kroos imo.He always looked dangerous and helped create a lot of chances.Even his shots weren't as wide as Robben's.Tbh I never wanted this to go into penalties coz I though they had the better keeper(and players!) but Cech surprised me.Di Matteo totally deserves the job now;He did what all the other managers, including Mourinho, couldn't do with a squad that was no where as good as the one they had.Credit to Mourinho for the players he brought to the club though. And to Ancelotti for Ramires.

tomahawk stop being biased and making a fool of our country!

Robben was kinda situational, sometimes he just rushed through the defense of Chelsea, something other players couldn't really do, but mostly he just shot the ball 6m next to the goal.

Cech, Cole, Lahm and Tymoschuk were the best players on the field, imo.

I'm sorry :(

yeah i shouldnt have mentioned ribery there. though my main point still stands: muller and gomez were really disappointing.
