Why do people keep saying the Pt protagonist is the only one that could get the orbs
2 thirds of them were literally sitting in a cave
The other, admittedly, was in an otherworldly portal but it wasn't exactly a long trek

All three were completely optional

The only person to get the orbs was supposed to be the protagonist of the DPP series. So maybe, just maybe, he grew out his hair, changed his name to Ghetsis, stole Vegeta's scouter and created team plasma. Somewhat of a long-shot though....

Hahahaha, that made my day reading that comment. I can imagine the female protagonist somehow turning into Ghetsis. 0.o And the Orbs aren't exactly hard to get, the only one that is difficult is the Griesous Orb, and as I said, Ghetsis has mysterious ways to get the things he needs for his plans. I also don't think that N is actually related to Ghetsis. I can't remember which Sage said it, but he has suspicions about it.

Abilities are currently unknown.
Tornadus has a larger Emphasis on Def. Sp.Def, and Speed.

Thunderus has a larger emphasis on Sp.Atk.

Landrous has a larger emphasis on attack.

That's all the info I can dig up, Hope this helps.

Well, Red didn't become Leaf if you picked the girl in HGSS. But of course that means nothing.

They could have you input the biographical data for the BW Protagonist. Like, have some character ask you if the hero who beat Team Plasma two years ago was a guy or a girl. If they don't have all the starters, they could just be given the starter that's weak to yours (Since we already know that Hihihiroshi has the one that's strong to yours).

For the hypothetical Hilbert/Hilda battle (character matches your gender):

Victini
Serperior
Emboar
Samurott
Tornadus (B2)/Thunderus (W2)
Reshiram (B2)/Zekrom (W2)

Zoroark and Volcarona are signature Pokemon of N and Alder, respectively.

Make's me wish the would give a previous event 'mon to trainers really bad. Victini is fun. And on an unrelated note I wonder what they'll do for Victini in this game. I already have like 20 in BW1 but if it's wild catch-able (possibly still on the island, just minus the liberty ticket needed to get there) that would be fun. Then that's one less excuse for Victini to not be allowed in VGC.(I mean come on. Only thing against it is all base 100 stats. Which to most just means it's not as strong as some but bulkier than those it's weaker than.)

VGC only bans event Pokemon(Phione etc.), and the "uber" legendaries(the latter when the event isn't a VGC 2010-esque thing). The all-round 100s are banned because they are all event Pokemon.

Zoroark was an anomaly, but it could be bred which was why it is allowed in VGC.

Well yeah you say event Pokemon right now and I understand why people think that. But me and a few others specifically emailed the people that run VGC's (No one in particular AKA Customer support essentially I guess) and the response completely contradicts that idea. (Bear with me here because I haven't read it in a while) but essentially they said the main reason was because the pokemon were too powerful in double battle format to be used. Unless they were idiots and thought I meant crap like Mewtwo, Kyogre, etc. the real reason is not how hard it is to obtain events but how powerful a pokemon is.

So aka if Victini is no longer an event for whatever reason in BW2 then it will still probably be banned.

Also real quick my email specifically said Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Shaymin (This could be more understandable I guess) and Victini specifically. So they would've had to be a robot to miss what I was talking about. Also if anyone wishes to take up this conversation somewhere else that would probably be best so this forum isn't spammed with this issue. Unless no one really cares with all the lack of real info for the games lol.

Yeah, no kidding. A month to the Japanese release, and we know just a tiny bit more than when we started (in terms of gym leaders and regional dex).

4 gym leaders, ~2/3rds of the regional dex, side attractions, several characters confirmed returned, new important characters, several of the new areas, inklings of story that they seem determined to keep locked down for some reason

We kind of know a fair bit, actually.

But what we know seems insubstantial because it's clear that they're hiding quite a lot behind that ice. We don't know who the other 4 Gym Leaders are, we don't know what role N will have in the game (beyond vague guesses), we don't know Achroma's true intentions, We don't know if either of the Junipers will appear, we don't know if the TMs List has been changed or not (or if there's Move Tutors)...

We may know a fair bit, but there's still a lot that's unknown.

3 legendaries? Not happening.

it's true i do miss move tutors. i was able to cover so many weaknesses thanks to them. and as for hilberts name i agree that they should've change his name. maybe like something a little more intimidating or courages

Yes something truly intimidating
courageous

Like Red.
Or Ethan!

Honestly the amount of hatred that Hilbert & Hilda get (by the way did you know the names have German roots in "to battle") is ridiculous.
