Umm, reading Part IV of the breeding guide answers all there is to ask about Hidden Power.

Thanks Footnote for answering both my questions.

I forgot to post earlier that I've tested Morning Sun in bright sunlight. It heals 66% of max HP. I assume Synthesis and Moonlight do the same, but have not tested.

Here's a couple of new questions, this time about Bug Bite:

If Bug Bite is used on a pokemon that is holding an EV-reducing berry (sure, it's not really a good battle strategy, but still interesting), does the Bug Biter's EV get reduced?

If Bug Bite is used on a pokemon holding a Jaboca berry, what happens? Does the Jaboca Berry hurt the Bug Biter? Does the Jaboca Berry get consumed with no effect? Does the Jaboca Berry get activated against the pokemon that was holding it, and do extra damage?

If my pokemon was holding Brightpowder and the opposing pokemon used a 100% acc. move, what's the acc. of the move after Brightpowder's effect? (%)

Thanks.

Something I've been wondering:

If a Shuckle used Gyro Ball on Ninjask during Trick Room, would Gyro Ball still be strong or would it be weakened because Shunckle's now faster than Ninjask?

Just using Shuckle and Ninjask as examples, btw.

no trick room doesn't effect the speed stat just the order in which pokemon move so gyroball would still be 150 power if a poke speed stat is 6 time or more less than the target

I would expect that it would still be powerful; The actual speed stats don't change, just the order in which you move.

On that subject, I used to use a Power-Trick Shuckle with Trick Room Support; It had Gyro Ball, but I never had a chance to use it during Trick Room as I quickly ditched it from my team.

But, I have a question:
If you use Power Trick, do any attack boosts stay in attack, or do they switch over to boosting def when your attack stat switches? I ask because my team used to have a multi-stage, one-time set-up for my Shuckle:
Shedinja uses subs and swords dance- Has a Starf Berry for an additional random 2-boost after it uses 4 subs.
Shedinja Baton Passes to Mr Mime, who uses Trick Room and Baton passes to Shuckle, giving Shuckle 4 turns of moving first.
Shuckle's first move is usually Power Trick (sometimes Gastro Acid, depending on foe)
After Power trick, it proceeds to sweep 2-3 Pokémon.

The major issue here is what happens to the attack boosts I had beforehand. Do they stay to multiply my already-massive 614 attack, or go with my original attack stat to boost my now-tiny defense?

After using Power Trick, Swords Dance still boosts Attack, Defense Curl still boosts Defense. Attack boosts reamin Attack boosts, Defense boosts remain defense boosts.

Shedinja uses subs and swords dance
Shedinja Baton Passes

Shedinja can't use Substitute and it can't have Baton Pass and Swords Dance at the same time. Did you mean a different Pokemon?

It can't Substitute, but it can have Baton Pass and Swords Dance at the same time thanks to the FRLGE move tutor.

Nincada and Shedinja can't learn Sword Dance from the FLE Tutor nor learn the DP Swords Dance TM. Shedinja can only get it from Ninjask which means giving up Baton Pass.

We've established that certain effects of U-turn activate after the switch, which is why Choice Band gets locked to U-turn if the pokemon switched to has CB and U-turn...

So here's a new question - if the pokemon being U-turn-switched to has both U-turn and Last Resort, does it need to use U-turn in order to use Last Resort?

They have the same effect number (132), so I assume they heal the same thing during Sunny Day and the other weather moves.

Just in case it needed confirmation:

Volt Tackle can paralyse now. Evidence here. It's very likely that Flare Blitz can burn as well. ( Please don't watch the whole video, it's hideous. )

Confirmed: Skill Link does not affect multi-turn moves like Clamp.
Confirmed: Worry Seed does not work on a Pokémon with Truant.

i just got a liechi berry. i want to grow it so i can get many more liechi berries. what is the process on how to do that correctly?

thanks

what does the fertilizer do exactly. i could only find an old emerald guide for this on gamefaqs, didn't know if it was the same.

one type makes berrys stay around longer others speed up berry growth(but you need to water more) and lastly another help makes berrys plants spread if you don't pick them
