The Legend of Korra (Spoilers ITT)

I LOVE the fighting in this show. The finale next week is shaping up to be even more intense than these last three/four episodes, which were action-packed as it is.

The airbending kids were perfect this episode, but the star was General Iroh. Man, it's good to hear Dante Basco's voice again, and it's so heartwarming that Zuko named his son after his uncle.

Holy fuck. That was the best episode I have ever seen. I'm seriously considering this show to be better than TLA after that episode. Those were some of the best combat sequences I have ever seen in an anime.
 
Korra is going to have the power to give bending back. The avatar can take bending away and staying with the theme of 'equalizer' and 'bringer of balance' whose to say she won't just figure out how to give Lin her bending back? (after defeating amon)
 
Hmm, this might be me or Iroh and Bumi have something in common, could it be iroh is Bumi's/Zuko's daughter's son?

the collar they have is the same, the eyebrows damn nstraight look the same, could it be possible?

they've set up some big stuff for the season finale so I'm excited to see how it goes!
 
Incredible episode. I was cracking up so hard when the kids started bending, haha. The fight sequences were gorgeous (I'm so glad we finally got some real fights with Tenzin) and the drama is at the perfect escalated level for the season finale.

Also I don't understand why they're doing this with Mako; it's almost like poor character writing or something. Seriously, he is terrible and I can't fathom him.

I am also very happy that they made Tenzin hold his own this time, interesting that him and Tarrlok were the only two councilmen able to defend themselves adequately.

And yes I know the part with Lin was sad, but I feel that it shows so much more of her character if she doesn't get it back, if this is her big sacrifice for the continuation of the Air Benders it means so much more.
 
Great episode, I'm so confused over Lin and Tenzin's relationship after this.

Also Lin has to get her bending back, like ASAP. Korra better work that shit out
 
First) General Iroh's voice really threw me. It did not fit at all. I mean I know it's just Zuko's VA, but that was really forced...

Second) People need to stop bitching about Mako. His character is intentionally written as being petty and naive. I don't know why people can't accept that. It'll go through character development in time. Just be patient.

also holy shit i dunno how they did it but the first second they showed general Iroh (he isnt addressed by any name for a while) i genuinely thought it was zuko, until it became incredibly obvious that zuko is already fuckin old as shit. agreein that its very heartwarmin he named him Iroh
