Yes.

And it's not the only case of that happening. Vulpix/Ninetales only learns Energy Ball by breeding, for instance.
 
Raising something in the pokecenter, does it use up EVs at all, or affect how your pokemon will grow when you EV train it after taking it out? (if it wasnt ev trained at all when you put it it in [egg] )
 
you know when you battle people over wifi ther is an option that allows your pokemon to be at level 100, is this same option able for when you battle friends (not over wifi) or do u have to battle them at the levels that your pokemon are?
 
The auto-level option is unfortunately not available for local multiplayer battles, only for Wi-Fi. Everyone will keep their levels.
 
ok thanks nicar, that really sucks though, i planned on vsin my friends fairly not at dif lvls, i guess we are just gonna have to agree on a said level

So lets say you want to battle a friend, but not over Wi-Fi, can you still do that? I couldn't find it yesterday..

Is Gligar going to be used in DP UU, even though it got an evo, and that evo outdones it in everything but weight, leaving him theorically to NFE-use only? I'm seeing it in a lot of counter lists for probable UU Pokemon in DP analyses...

Paralze drops the Pokemon's speed to one-fourth.

Burn drops the Pokemon's Attack stat to one-half.

Poison does absolutely nothing.
 
It says in the analysis for Breloom that it can have Poison Heal and Thunderpunch. I assume Thunderpunch is learned through Emerald move tutors, but the only ability in ADV for Brelooms is Effect Spore.

Does it have like a 50:50 chance of switching abilities if you evolve the Shroomish in ADV of getting Poison Heal?

And if so, if I duplicate the Shroomish, import one, and it evolves to have Effect Spore will the other Shroomish be guaranteed to have Effect Spore as well?
 
How does Ambipom fare in battle? In another forum's tier list, it is considered BL, which seems a bit higher than I'd put it. Is there something I'm missing?

Oh, and aside form Ambipom, who can nasty plot / baton pass?

Mantine is Skarmory, but in the Special side, and worse typing and attacks.

I'd go:

+SpDef -Atk
EVs: Similar to Skarm, but in the special side.
-Hydro Pump/Surf
-Ice Beam
-Haze
-Rest

UU only. I guess lol Mud Sport could be an option, but not really.
