wats the chances of destiny bond killing your opponent with you?
cuz sometimes my froslass destiny bonds in vain :(

100%.

Destiny Bond only activates if they kill you though. If they do kill you (on the turn or turn after you use Destiny Bond), they will also faint.
 
How does last resort actually work? Like, do all attacking moves have to be nullified, or do I have to have 0 PP in every other attack?

As a concrete example, when would the following Ambipom be able to attack?

Ambipom
Fake-out
Nasty Plot
Baton Pass
Last Resort
 
I have another question, if i get a manaphy egg from ranger, and save it the moment i do. Can i keep hatching it and soft reseting until i come up with a good manaphy with good iv's and nature, or are hte ivs and nature set in stone the moment i recieve the egg?
 
Probably not. Eggs have their nature pre-determined. And there is even a glitch that allows you to see their nature and abilities before they hatch. I'd assume IVs are similar as well.
 
Dragontamer- suppose you have a glaceon with sand attack, mirror coat, tail whip, and last resort (true story, Mira had one in a multi battle). Said glaceon would have to use the moves sand attack, mirror coat, and tail whip at least once before it could use last resort.

rob92- IIRC, you can save right in front of the guy who gives you the egg to reset for nature. I wish I had known that when I hatched mine... (I got a lonely one).

Seeing as how you have go up to the man in any PokeMart in order to get the Manaphy egg, yes, you can reset for natures/IVs.

You must use all 3 of your other moves at least once since you switched in. This wouldn't work because baton pass would switch you out.
 
If i die to Uxie/Azelf/Mespirit, are their natures/IVs set?
I CBA to catch them, i just want to pal park.

And where can I find a trainer with a Cherrim?

Edit: And is there any easy way to get to Mespirit? Total pain to follow it...
 
ok so if i save in front of the guy i can get the right nature and ivs, also does the synchronize work there so i have a 50% chance of gettin good nature or not?
 
The nature is fixed when the egg is created, before you take it, so you can't reset for it. AFAIK, synchronize won't work. You're better off using the everstone trick.
 
yeh but if i breed my manaphy, fione doesnt evolve back into it, so i cant do it that way, i guess im gonna jst have to stick with the nature i get but can u change the ivs or are they set to
 
Yes, you can save in front of the Mart guy and reset as many times as you want for a good Manaphy. Both nature and IVs change.

While I'm at it, can some of you help me decide whether or not to keep this...

Att: 8 - 11
Def: 23
SpA: 23
SpD: 24
Speed: 25

Eh, its up to you. The IVs aren't so great, but it depends on how sick you are of SRing

Really need help, Mespirit is becoming a bitch and I need to know if i can save...
 
hey I was just wondering if you guys think this Palkia will be usable.
I accidentally caught it without looking at IVs, because I was relieved that it was modest and when I used the IV calculator I found that it had perfect 31 IVs in HP and speed, but it had a rediculously bad 4 SP ATT IV xD
I decided to teach it:
Surf
Spacial Rand
Thunder
Psych Up
I used this move set because Psych Up eats any mewtwo/kyogre CMs and possibly but less likely some Rayquaza DDs to help it sweep better, and the other 3 moves are standard on palkia. I figured since it was modest and had a 2 ATT IV (-_-) that aqua tail would do nothing for me so I would just switch to fight blissey
I dunno what to do with it and I was wondering if you guys could give me some EV suggestions and let me know if there's any hope using it/if I should use a different move set.

can weavile OHKO garchomp with no hp/def EVs with ice shard? if so, how much attack does weavile need? does it need to be CB'd/life orbed?
 
If i have a (cloned) ditto with these stats (careful)
hp / atk / def / satk / sdef / spd
27/27/31/1/31/30
would i be able to trade i for any of the following:
Staryu (timid), with 31 satk and spd ivs (20+ def, sdef and hp)
Riolu (adamant), with 31 atk and spd ivs (20+ def, sdef and hp) (with blaze kick and crunch)
Elekid (modest), with 31 satk and spd ivs (20+ def, sdef and hp)
Happiny (calm), with 31 sdef and hp ivs (20+ def and satk) (with aromatherapy)
Pineco (impish), with 31 def and hp ivs (20+ sdef and atk)

also the perfect 31's dont have to be 31, anythin decent like 28 or somthin is ok.

would i be able to trade for these pokemon with that ditto or not
 
I have a question!

If my Skitty is too weak to Ev train on its own, can it hold an EXP Share and get the same EVs as the first Pokemon in the party after it kills something?

And what if the first Pokemon is holding one of the Power Items? Will it get halved?

if a pokemon gains exp, it gains full EVs. EVs aren't split the way exp is.
