50% Cresselia Set?

Yes, its me again, with another one of my crazy sets, this time, for Cressila. Why is the set called 50%? You shall soon see...

*50%*
Cresselia @ Flame Orb
Ability: Levitate
Nature/Evs: Not thought of yet, probably a -spd nature.
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Psycho Shift
-Light Screen/Reflect, if you want, and are really lucky
So this is how the set works, use rest on the first turn, then procced to sleep talk. Now this is why the set is called 50%, If your good with luck, you will psycho Shift sleep to your opponent, switch to a counter and pwn. If not, you use rest and waste a turn. >.> if you want extra help/33% add light screen/reflect to the mix. So, this set should be good for people who are very lucky, although, its also very fun, try it and tell me what you think!

Thanks for stopping by!

If you are going to take the effort to write a thread, take the effort to spell the pokemon's name right.

I'd add an attack instead of Light Screen or Reflect.

If you use Light Screen or Reflect once, good. But after that, the odds of actually doing something with Sleep Talk become 33%.

With an attack, you always have a 66% chance of doing something productive.

It fails on Wifi at least, though probably not PBR. Wifi doesn't have coding-enforced Sleep Clause so the moment you Psycho Shift sleep onto an opponent, you suddenly can no longer use Sleep Talk.

The fact that it can't actually do anything besides stall isn't helping either. This is novelty at best.

cool, mods/admins came, I feel so special. Yeah, I thought it would be be novelty, and Psyco shift shifts your status to your opponent, and you no longer have it. Well thanks anyway guys!!

Its nice if it can bypass the sleep clause.

Its a way of healing and statusing. Perhaps Charge Beam so you can boost SP. A. and Stall with Rest.

This way you last a long time and benefit from the power boost.

Over Reflect/Light Screen.

sorry, but it is extremely unlikely that this bypasses sleep clause. even though you're using Psycho Shift, you're still putting your opponent to sleep

Uh... wouldn't the sleep on the opponent still only last however many turns you had remaining? Assuming you get it on the first try, you have one turn to switch, and the turn you attack, they wake up. Basically, you "forfeit" one of the pokes on your team in order to have a free switch for your other pokes. But if it doesn't work first turn, they'll be waking up as you switch, essentially completely wasting the purpose cresselia is supposed to serve. If the timer resets at 2 when it shifts, then you can ignore the previous sentence.

As far as sleep clause goes, since you're just giving them the rest status (which bypasses sleep clause), I don't think it would violate it. Or maybe it resets as normal sleep when it hits your opponent, in which case it would definitely violate sleep clause, and a lot of what I just wrote would be irrelevant.

hmm, your right, I need to tst how many turns of sleep they have left, and your passing, not giving sleep, so iirc, it isnt violating sleep clause

Personally speaking don't you think it'd work better with Flame Orb? It doesn't leave you sitting around like a muppet for one thing.

It has already been tested. The sleep counter is randomized when you Psycho Shift.

It most certainly does not bypass sleep clause. Put two of your opponents to sleep with this (or anything else) and you lose in an un-coded environment, and it simply fails in an environment where sleep clause is coded.
