Everyone talks about the regular one on one, but I haven't seen any 2 on 2 discussion threads.
Two on Two metagame has a lot more usable Pokemon than the standard (some of you may have seen that famous Trick Room Squirtle team in Battle Revolution), and evolve a lot of strategy and prediction (protecting those Explosions for example).
There are some teams that's common on Battle Revolution videos:
The Sunny Day team, with Cherrim looks deadly (while limited since Cherrim isn't very good on offensive himself), without him still deadly but lacking a good move to hit both opponents (I can think of Lava Plume, sadly there aren't many good and fast Pokemon that learns it).
The Rain Dance abuse teams, with Swift Swim Pokemon and some Thunders, simple and effective...
But both of them are destroyed by the
Trick Room teams. There's no way to win against one using a Rain Dance/Sunny Day team, I think. Since your speed will go sky high, and most Pokemon that benefits from Sunny Day/Rain Dance are a little fragile and won't survive a hit from Rampardos for example.
How many of you play/will play (on PBR, maybe?) 2 on 2? What do you think about 2 on 2 battling?
I haven't seen any 2 on 2 discussion threads, so I hope we can get something good from this one ^^
