I have a few questions:

1)Can Latios/Latias hold Sould Dew on Battle tower?

2)Power items give you the effort point you would get, plus 4 Effort points for the respective stat, right?

3)Does syncronize help with natures on XD?

My Hidden Power Ice [62] isn't cutting it on my Ampharos! It isn't able to KO most 4x weaks... should I replace it with something else? With what, though? And if I want it back, could I just give it a HP Tm and it will be Ice again?

1) it has no effect.
2) yes, but note that these additional points cannot be exp. shared.

ps. i'm still training for our rematch ;-)

Yes, it'll be ice again Kristy, the HP is decided by pokemon IVs, not randomly.

And about power items, do they work with pokerus?

Edit: Haha, and I'm still waiting, Pooch! =P

HP Ice is actually an extremely good option. Consider that your Ampharos has a SAtk- nature, has terrible IVs in special attack, or isn't properly EV trained

so im training an Illumise with

-Giga Drain
-Bug Buzz
-Water Pulse
-Wish

and it has stats of:
271 HP
117 Atk
146 Def
200 SpAtk
186 SpDef
193 Spd

so my question is, what would be a good EV spread for this guy?

i was thinking of puting 252 in HP and bringing both defeses to 200, but would that work? im just not sure :l

No, its a Brave Nature, and has 23 IVs in Special Attack, with 200 something EVs I think. But it isn't KOing things like Garchomp in the Battle Tower (leaving wit with 2-3 HP...).

Well, it might need more Special IVs and a +nature if it is going to KO things.....

It works well as a Subpuncher with Brave nature though

A friend and I were wondering if this would work as a good Anti-lead and reviver.

Smeargle@Choice Scarf
Jolly
252SPD 252ATK 4HP
~Spore
~Will-o-wisp
~Destiny Bond/Healing Wish
~Protect/Extremespeed/Explosion/Return/Double Edge

So, he can lead with spore/status, and mess up opposing leads. He can also Protect to see the opponent's strategy, but after one attack, he's always forced to switch out/die. Destiny Bond and Healing Wish are kinda gimmicky moves, but they fit this Smeargle well, IMO. You can bring him in late game to either revive one of your fallen powerhouses, or take out a problem sweeper. The attacks are just... options, personally, I'd go with either Extremespeed or Explosion. If you don't end up choosing one of the attacks, I'd use this EV spread: 252SPD 252HP 4DEF. Anyway, do you guys think this is an okay set? Or just some gimmick?

Also, could somebody tell me the differences between Lunar Dance and Healing Wish, and how they work (at the end of the turn or at the beginning, etc.) Thanks!

How do you Sketch explosion? You can't sketch a Pokémon that's fainted...

Lunar Dance also restores PP.

1. How nesecary is Pursuit on Heracross? I plan on running Adamant, max atk+spd, and holding Toxic/Flame Orb for Guts. I bred one with something like 29/31/xx/xx/xx/31 IV's, but it doesn't have Pursuit. I don't want to have to rebreed, especially since I've already used my Stone Edge TM.

2. How is the bonus from power raising items applied (Life Orb, Expert Belt, ect.) I know Life Orb is a 1.3x boost, but is that to the Base Power of your attacks? Or does the game calculate overall damage first, then multiplie THAT by 1.3?

You need 6 pokemon, those are the only requierments to Pal Park pokemon, other than the obvious being able to use Pal Park.
