I lauged the first time I was buying Vitamins en masse and the game asked me if I was sure that I wanted 99 carboses.

Also the two muscular guys at the top of the department store.
"There's nothing wrong with two manly men standing next to each other".

To me those were the funniest moments.
 
Kanto is awsomely hilarious.
who could forget the seasick captain?, the rocket grunts? or the shorts kid?, or even the kadabra dex entry for FR?. 1st generation is easily the best in everything but multi-player.
 
I think that it's funny that in the Resort Area, for all its rich fanciness, there's no Pokemart. You think all those rich people would want to splurge on something

my onix likes to run too :D

onix was actually the first pokemon that i caught the first day d/p came out, and when i saw "likes to run" in its summary, i had a pretty long "wtf" moment.

I'm not sure, I always thought Colo/XD were the best for a good laugh, 99% of those laughs coming from Cipher. When you meet Lovrina and find out that the 8-year-old girl with pink ponytails and a love for "cute" Pokemon is actually the head scientist of Cipher, I sat there laughing for quite awhile before I actually went on to battle her.

"That is like so unfair! You guys like totally don't understand Cipher's master plan of making Pokemon into tools! But don't worry, I'll make you oh so sorry for not handing over the professor!"

^^ Somewhat like her entrance line before the battle.

I doubt it was intentional, and it's a vague reference at best, but what made me chuckle was the idea of Pokemon and Breeding being as frivolous as buying an Icee at your local gas station or food mart.

Well, what do you expect her to say? "Your pokemon were pains in the ass. I hope you never come by again?" She's running a business.

I always thought it was funny how after Nurse Joy heals your pokemon, she says "We hope to see you again soon." Does she mean she hopes my pokemon faint again? Because that's the only reason I'm in the Center to begin with.

Am I the only person who notices that the Day Care Lady gives a shifty look right before she picks up your Pokemon?
 
oh yeah, as if nurse joy would heal your pokemon for free day after day after day.

do you think she really enjoys that?

i'm starting to think that nurse joy isn't an NPC, but rather just a robot
 
My issue with daycare is what they DO with your Pokemon. I mean, in ye olden days you could see your Pokemon out there cavorting in the yard. In Diamond/Pearl, they take them into some random black doorway (which leads who knows where...you'd think it'd just go outside) and YOU NEVER SEE THE POKEMON AGAIN, not even in the yard, until you ask.

Also, there's that sketchy girl who gives massages to Pokemon, and the girl who says you have to love your Pokemon. No, she means REALLY love them (so she says). And the people who love the feel of their Pokemon snuggled against them or whatever.

And the guy who explains endlessly about the smell of the hay clinging to his body. I DID NOT NEED TO KNOW.

Yeah, Nurse Joy isn't really running a business. If you watch the anime, she just gives stuff away at every Pokemon Center. She just likes to see your pokemon get hurt.
