Really? The ditto analysis is saying that it keeps it...New Ditto info: Like Quick Powder, Metal Powder does not function after Ditto transforms. Also, Ditto copies the stat changes that the target possesses at the time of the transformation.

Well i guess this is because after transforming you would have the same speed. So 50/50 chance of going first.Sometimes, a Wild Ditto holding Quick Powder Transforms itself into my lv.59 Magcargo and, well, outspeed her...
Is there perhaps room for Ditto's IVs to come into it, allowing it to be faster?Sometimes, a Wild Ditto holding Quick Powder Transforms itself into my lv.59 Magcargo and, well, outspeed her...
This is all from what I've been told, not anything I've tested- But IIRC Ditto's IVs (end EVs, but these're wild) are applied to the foe's base stats... But I think this all warrants some research, so if I get the time, I'll check out Ditto (and Mew, perhaps) sometime later.
Does this mean that a level 1 ditto could, potentially, survive one round with Focus Sash, and the next turn, strike first with the power of a lv.100? Or does it copy everything but HP, and then adjust for level?I tested my Ditto with a high Speed IV and max Speed EVs transforming into my Forretress with a low Speed IV and no Speed EVs. In the subsequent rounds, sometimes the Ditto went first and sometimes the Forretress went first (using the same move). The move order appeared to be random between the two of them.
Things slip my mind occasionally, eep.You have to take into consideration that level 1 Pokemon do less damage than level 100 Pokemon with the same Attack stat.

This Mold Breaker list poses an interesting question. Why is Mold Breaker listed as nullifying Flower Gift if Flower Gift only raises Attack and Sp Attack?
Ok, I've done testing with cherimu and here are the results :
under sunny day, all stats remains the same exept for physical attack and special defense which both get a 1.5 (or something near) boost.
cherimu : ATT : 151 SPE.ATT : 205 DEF : 157 SPE.DEF : 171
tackle on a 315 DEF groudon (with trait activated, obviously): 19,20,20,20
solar beam on that 194 SPE.DEF groudon : 278,302
damage took from thunderbolt of a 284 SPE.ATT latios : 40,39,40 (with trait active), then 61,60,62 (when sunny day was not active).
Damage took from physical needle arm of a 235 ATT cacturne : 55,54,55 (under sunny day) then 54,53,55 (without sunny day).
damage on a 346 DEF, 354 SPEDEF Umbreon :
tackle : 12,13,13,
solar beam : 78,81,88
now with sunny day :
tackle : 18,17,19
solar beam : 79,81,81
Sorry for always be the one bringing bad news about traits and moves.
Still no luck finding what moves affect hitmonlee trait, and I won't be able to test more stuff from now until sometimes next week if all goes well, so I guess this one will have to wait.
That's impressive, I'll try to test gravity as well if I have a chance.Yeah, I remember reading that when I joined. Perhaps I'll pick up where he left off.
On another subject, I've mentioned before that the NP guide says that Gravity boosts the accuracy of all Pokémon. Preliminary testing indicates that the accuracy boost may be much stronger than I suspected.
Out of 50 Fire Blasts (85% accurate), all 50 hit.
Out of 50 Iron Tails (75% accurate), all 50 hit.
Out of 50 Zap Cannons (50% accurate), 44 hit.
I'm going to run more Zap Cannon tests soon, along with some OHKO tests.
Wow, it looks like gravity can actually be usable!Yeah, I remember reading that when I joined. Perhaps I'll pick up where he left off.

Also, is it possible to get Magic Guard after transferring a Cleffa/Clefairy from FR/LG?
Holy shit, that's absolutely insane. More testing is definitely needed here.
OHKO attacks are 30% accurate on Pokémon your own level, correct? I just need to be certain before I start crunching numbers that it hasn't changed since ADV or that I haven't been misinformed about how it worked in ADV.
It is possible, but you've got a 50/50 chance.
