The Official "Complain about being beat by Seattle Defense" Thread

So I've been #1 for every week, would be 61-11 if I played every team in the league every week, I lead the league in scoring by over 100 pts over MoP, who is 100 points over everyone else.

Yet I still somehow got 2 losses. I can complain right? That's what this thread is for.

League B will definitely be interesting though. I'm not going to guarantee Steeler and I make it but we hold a 2 game lead over third place at the moment. I think its going to be a fun contest between 6-7 teams for 3rd and 4th depending on how it shakes out.

yeah, there is a huge clusterfuck behind us. i feel like my team is coming together quite nicely (fuck yeah holding onto J-Stew) and you have 3 of the top 4 WRs + Matt Ryan. I am pretty sure we will both be in the playoffs. MoP's been the second best team all season imo, so he'll probably get at least a win or two more than the rest of those guys. 4th place will be tricky though.

PSA: I am benching Dwayne Bowe this week. The last two times I did that, he went 8/102/2 TDs, and 7/108/1. If he has a big night you have me to thank.

I've been relatively injury free for most of the season, but of my 11 players in my money league 6 currently have red crosses. My opponent also has 6 injured players and 2 on bye. This matchup could be pretty ugly!

ps I really fucking hate waivers. I wanted to pick up Gates this week, who was dropped on the first set of weekly waivers on wednesday. nope, he was on waivers until Friday! feels bad man

I'm almost ready to give up in league b. My team is/was top 4 pre season but injuries, underperforming and one or two misfires have left me for almost dead.

Well I talked myself into swapping Lynch and Antonio Brown for Darren McFadden and Hakeem Nicks. I actually traded Brown from this guy sooner, anticipating him getting redzone looks, but it never happened, and with both DMC and Nicks healthy, I'm willing to roll the dice on them. I'll miss Lynch's consistency, but DMC and Nicks both have huge upside at this point.

League B is a pain in the ass, because Fabbles auto pick actually snagged so many good players. Also I'm still kicking myself for picking Julio over AJ Green. ffffff.

Overall my team would have been a lot stronger for the long run this year if MJD hadn't gotten hurt. I mean Ray Rice / MJD / Willis Mcgahee was pulling in like a solid 50-60 points every week ;-;.... with Big Ben / Antonio Brown / Demaryius Thomas / Lawerence Tynes rounding out solid performances every week. Every week my win or loss hinges on Antonio Gates and Julio pretty much -___-

good call on benching Bowe.

5 points.

Cecil Shorts will likely get at least double that.

oh well. i'm pretty much out of playoff contention anyway.

My team looked amazing on paper to start the season, its just that Michael Vick forgot how to throw, and Michael Turner is doing worse than CJ Spiller (not that I have CJ Spiller, my other RB is Frank Gore).

Hearing that Raiders are going to implement more power blocking schemes. Have to hope that this helps DMC turn things around for the rest of the year.

My fantasy season is crazy varied, with records ranging from 1-7 to 6-2 in different leagues. I'm really hoping I haven't fallen too far behind to make the playoffs in League C, because my team is entirely too good to not go...

Also lol just noticed Sproles is out 4-6 weeks. As if anything else could go wrong in League A!

Ever heard of "on paper"

Again, you know this isn't a thing right? Saying a team is better on paper before the season starts is basically saying they would have won LAST year in fantasy football. You can basically expect half of the NFL to progress and half of them to regress from last year, even if slightly. Just because all the fantasy experts are predicting a 35 TD 4,000 yard season from Cam Newton doesn't mean it's going to happen!

My fantasy season is crazy varied...

This applies to me too. I expected my luck to regress some later into the season, and it has, but the last couple weeks have been brutal. I opened something like 20-4 in four leagues through six weeks, but the past two I have been like 2-6. In my money league, what was my only injury in Donald Brown a few weeks ago has turned into basically my entire team being injured (Charles got hurt Thursday, Sproles broke his hand in practice, Roddy, Percy, and Titus Young are all banged up, and Ben Tate and Brown are still hurt). All I want to do is limp into a first round bye for the playoffs, but I kind of have to win this week against the current #3 seed.

Even though I have a good record, my auction league team has been pretty disappointing. Even though I did terribly during the draft, I still picked up an excellent starting lineup at the expense of a shitty bench. Hernandez/Graham, my two TEs that were supposed to play TE/Flex the entire year, have only played during the same games once or twice all season, and it looks like Jordy Nelson is going to miss another game. Here's hoping Donald Driver scores again?

Start Jordy, gets injured in the 1st quarter.
Bench Calvin, 111 yards and counting.

Why would you -ever- start Jordy Nelson over Calvin Johnson?

I would have more sympathy for you if it was like, Jordy Nelson over Cecil Shorts or something.

As an RGIII owner, that last drive hurt me. Couldn't watch the game live, but a friend of mine told me that two TD's by Griffin were called back, and the Redskins scored with Evan Royster instead. blargh

Lucky for me Brandon Marshall scored more than Chicago's defense did to keep that matchup winnable, haha. Still might get beat by Chicago in League C if my remaining guys don't play at least decently well. It will be nothing short of embarrassing to lose that matchup.

i sat Leshoure this week. T_T

still might pull off a win even with Stafford putting up paltry points.

i still have Julio Jones and Jimmy Graham to play, my opponent has Doug Martin playing now, and Miles Austin playing tonight.

OF COURSE THE STEELERS PROBABLY JUST PUT THE FINAL NAIL IN MY FANTASY SEASON THANKS A LOT UGH

get well soon cruz... please

leshoure, weeks 3-8: 1 TD

leshoure, week 9, quarters 1&2: 3 TDs

fml

man I'd fucking love to blame this as the reason I'm getting crushed in my money league, but really it's because my team is just busy sucking dick

Harvin gets 2 points and gets injured, Charles got 5 points on Thursday, Young getting 2 points... I'll be lucky to eclipse 50 points this week.

forget playing for the first round bye, at this point I'm hoping I don't lose out and miss the playoffs after a 7-1 start

They're different leagues. Jordy was in my auction PPR league (where I have Colston, Julio, and VJax anyway, dunno why I risked playing Jordy over one of them). Calvin was in a regular league. I should probably be slapped for starting Kendall Wright vs the Bears over him, though.
