If you're looking for stuff with battles of wits, Kaiji and One Outs are a good next step.

@UncleSam: Zetsuen no Tempest is another atm. It's ongoing and I haven't read the manga/light novels so I can't tell you how it'll end or where it's going next but it's definitely good right now!!

Movie was ok, but hoping that others are better. Code Geass is probaby best anime, besides Death Note, but why they can't release Blu-rays for Death Note @_@
