So much Galactic hate in here xD

Cryus' perfect world idea is one that you can find in quite a few plotlines "total perfection". Of course, with total perfection, you can't have any freedom at all, which certainly isn't a very good thing at all. Basically, think of Cyrus as your average everyday soccer mom, except this soccer mom wants to protect the whole world and will stop at nothing before her goal is reached.

But now that I think about it Hitler/Cyrus did have a bit in common. After you beat the game and pay a visit to Galactic HQ, Saturn will say something like

"His confident manner of speaking... His logical words... I think people just became so enthralled by him. I allowed myself to believe his words because I wanted to see the world he intended to make. But I've learned that extremism is never the solution..."

But yeah, somebody really should make a separate thread for debating the evilest of all the fictional teams out there.

So I'm playing through and I decide to do the Medicham for Haunter trade in Snowpoint City when something hits me - are the NPCs who want in-game trades so goddamn lazy that they can't take 10 minutes and a Dusk Ball to go out and catch one for themselves?

Every ingame trade in D/P asks for a Pokemon that can be caught on the route right outside of the town. What gives?

Because they're trading really crappy pokemon and want to get better ones for free. Hmmmm. Kinda reminds me of half the people on the serebii trading boards and pretty much everyone on the GTS.

It takes a lot to make me, DARKRAI, sunny and cheerful!* As a show of affection, I should chomp down on the Trainer's neck... Hahaha... Have no fear... I was merely joking..."

First thing, he wants to eat me. Second thing, a sunny and cheerful nightmare pokemon? That's o_O; just o_O;

It has been announced that Hitler will be the 5th gen orginization boss, though GameFreak has yet to disclose whether the actual orginization will be the Nazis or not....

Okay, enough joking about mass murderers for me. I always thought it was sort of ironic how the daycare man tells me to take care of each egg he gives me. Little does he know that out of the hundreds of eggs I get, I'll only keep six of them. Hehehe....

So you can meet Team Galactic after you beat the game? In every other game, the villainous teams pretty much vanished after being defeated (with the exception of a few TR members in FR/LG who weren't quite up-to-date and that one TR Grunt in Cerulean City, way back in GSC).

At least this might explain why the TV continues to air Team Galactic's ads. Speaking of which:

"Our peace for your world. Team Galactic."
"Find peace in our world. Team Galactic."

Didn't anyone in the game ever find these ads weird and/or creepy?

Anyone noticed how ironic it is that in Pal Park, the easier the Pokemon are to catch, the higher your score is, rather than catching stuff like Deoxys?

Also, I really doubt that the rare ones are harder to find. I caught the three Regis in Pal Park within 10 seconds, but then wasted my time score looking for a Raichu. x.X

I spend about 30 seconds trying to find 1 Jirachi/Deoxys....out of 3 of each everyday I migrate them, and I end up with hardly 2000 points. It's sad...

Oh well, it seems the Regi's are good for the Park.
