eh any team would have scored that many today

thats the problem when you play four dms and invite all the pressure in the world from the start. honestly, i checked the line-up then went back to sleep. we were never getting a result today

liverpool... you did us a favour. surely pardew has to go soon and i dont know which i would prefer. a relegated team not managed by pardew or one that stays up that is

you know theres a problem when borini scores

so you didn't watch the match yet you say any team could have have scored that many

watch the match and focus on MOTM coutinho. completely dismantled the newcastle with his brilliant through balls. you'll enjoy watching him even if you're a newcasle supporter calum

when you let the opponents play how they want from the start and have no offensive threat at all, you are going to get completely dismantled nine times out of 10 (chelsea's CL run being the exception)

i know liverpool deserve some credit but i am honestly glad that we did not play aston villa or wigan today as i guarantee either team would have walked away with the win. thats the truth absollover

(i watched the highlights for what its worth. theres no way you can get me to watch the entire game lol)

I guess I was too caught up that I forgot to mention how brilliant Coutinho was. Bright future for him certainly, hopefully for Liverpool's sake he doesn't move to a bigger club.

United to fight Bayern for Lewandowski. Chelsea were initially interested but seem to have backed off now with the arrivals of Schurrle and Falcao imminent. Dortmund's unwillingness to sell another of their stars to Bayern may work in United's favour. It'll be interesting to see where he goes. Maybe he'll stay if they win the champions league.

Also Chelsea recently referred to Lampard as 'former blues midfielder' on their TV channel......

Well, Rooney is a very vital player for them and I wouldn't say he sucks. RvP is old but he may have a few good years in him. Welbeck sucks, I'll give you that. Don't know what to say about Hernandez, but he's not bad.
Anyway, a must win against Swansea today, especially after Spurs slipped up against Wigan.

Why.the.fuck. would a team with RvP, Hernandez, Rooney and Welbeck need Lewandowski ç_ç

you can never have enough quality. ferguson is assembling the best strike force in history (srs).

some people saying rooney might be moved to CM but I'm far from convinced that is good enough to play in that position

I really think Rooney would be better / more effective playing as a CM...the workrate and desire would be absolutely huge, while over the past few seasons I have really been unconvinced by his displays as a centre forward / striker

i think his best position is in the hole with 2 CMs behind him. He doesn't have the intelligence to play in a midfield two and actually goes way too many times for the hollywood ball (even more frequently than gerrard!!)

And isn't Fellaini more of an CAM/CF rather than CM..

been trying to tell him that for the past year.

he's still convinced that fellaini is a good central midfielder

Buying Fellaini to use as a forward doesn't make sense to me, especially for the supposed 25mil he's worth. If you want a big man, why not go for the best one there is - Carroll? Or Lukaku or Benteke who have a bit of pace about them. 25mil for a big man is a lot of money, and I don't think playing him as a attacking midfielder works for the system of any of the top teams.

He's not a creative attacking midfielder that you usually want linking the play in that position. And he's outclassed as an out and out striker. A top team could only fit him in as a defensive mid. He's got excellent heading ability, below average dribbling ability, below average creativity, below average shooting ability and is slow. 15mil sounds about right to me if you're feeling generous. Stick him in defensive mid and throw him up for corners and he'll get you a few goals that way, but in no way a world class player - he's not good enough on the ball.

And here comes the second half pressure where United end up winning.

Oh well. At least it started off nice and we got a goal. Some excitement.

Yeah I was definitely lucky, it's not like Sagna went complete retard or anything and it's not like we dominated the first half or anything??

Draw was fair in the end, United played better in the second half.

This

His passing is terrible and he doesn't have the positional awareness to protect a back four efficiently. He can be a defensive midfielder 'a la tiote', running around and playing dirty but as you can see with tiote, he's been found out this season and that type of DM is very easy to play against. He's not good enough for a top four team, nevermind a team like man utd.
