Yes @ Wish Hax.

First stage- x1.5
Second- x2
Third- x2.5
Fourth- x3
Fifth- x3.5
Sixth- x4

I'm not too sure about when the stat gets lowered but I assume its the same as raised just negative.
When a stat is lowered, the stages are the reciprocals of the positive increases.

First = 1/1.5 = 2/3 or 66.67%
Second = 1/2 or 50%
Third = 1/2.5 or 40%

And so on.

Does watering a berry seed/sprout/plant before the soil is drier affect its growth? I.e. is it a waste of time to water your berries periodically if the soil is still damp? For that matter, does watering them again lengthen how long it'll take the soil to dry?

EDIT: If I breed a female Pokemon with a Ditto, will the babies get Egg Moves, or does it still only work if I have a male with the moves?

Greenguy: It cures all status problems other than the ones you can't see (IE: Confusion, Attract, etc.)

Not sure about the other questions.

If I'm not mistaken, you can:
Stantler to Vulpix for Hypnosis, level up Vulpix for Confuse Ray, breed both from Vulpix to Golduck, and finally both from Golduck to Milotic.

How many vitamins can a Pokemon have?

A pokemon can only have 10 of a certain vitamin. Keep in mind that 510 is the limit of EVs a pokemon can have (1 vitamin= 10 Evs so you can't feed it all 6 vitamins).

@Doval: I'm too sure about the berry question. It may be a waste of time but I just do it in case. I'm not certain if it affects the time it takes to dry (the only that may affect it may be the respective fertilizer). The baby will only get egg moves from a male.

I am EV training a half decent gible. I trying to max our the speed and attack stats that he has, my question is, how exactly does the whole 4 EVs = plus 1 stat increase work? Does it even work that way? Because it seems no matter how many staravias I kill with him, he still only gets plus 1 in his speed stat, and I know for a fact that staravia gives 2 speed per kill.

What determines recoil from missing when using Hi Jump Kick?
I used Hi Jump Kick on a Lv.30-something Hitmonlee I was levelling in Iron Island to get it to 41 for Blaze Kick, and the one time I missed I lost exactly 50% HP.

MinorthreaT: 4 EVs = 1 stat point increase over what you'd normally have *at level 100.* Your non-HP stats at Lv.100 are 5 + (Base Stat * 2) + IVs + floor(EVs/4). For HP, simply replace the 5 with 110.

Oh, and thank you Tazzler.

Watering it does peridically does not matter. Just visit the berries every 2-4 hours and see if the soil is dark brown, if it is, leave it, if it's no water it. Watering it again does lengthen the time.

Female Pokemon w/Ditto will not have egg moves.

Hypnosis from Poliwag, but Haze from where?

Also, why is Specsmence prefered to any other variation of Mence? It's Physical Base Stat is 25 points higher.

Breed haze onto Poliwag from Wooper. And I posted above how to get both Hypnosis and Confuse Ray onto Milotic, you just have to chain breed.

Not sure about why Specsmence over others, but if I had to guess I'd say it's due to his movepool.

Whoa. Just checked that chain and it works. Awesome.

Ah, I see. So, if the soil's been dark brown for a long time, but I'm going to bed, it'd still be a good idea to water it to keep it at its dampest for as long as possible while I sleep, correct?

Other than sweepers and walls, what variations of pokemon are there, what are common moves for them, and which pokemon are most picked for each variation (ex. Skarmory for Spiker)?

Clerics - A pokemon that uses Heal Bell/Aromatheraphy to heal the squad of status. Either that, or used to pass Wishes. (Example = Blissey)

Baton Passer - Passes on stat boosts etc. (Example = Ninjask)

Psuedo Passer - Passes on Reflect/Light Screen/Safeguard etc. (Example = Bronzong)

Choice Item users = Self explanatory, a Pokemon that uses either Choice Band, Scarf or Specs. (Example = Heracross, Salamence)

Quite a few more specialised ones, but I don't know if I should really mention them as their own variation.

i obviously know that Sandstorm doesn't effect Rock, Ground, and Steel types, but what types arent effected by Hail? Just Ice?
