^Couldn't find a good picture of Hail, so I made a pun...
So... I haven't been here in a while. Haven't done too much online either. I sucked beforehand, no that I'm rusty, man you don't wanna see. but, I still managed to peak around 1600, which I'm floating around now, but can't go much higher than. I'm also getting kinda bored from online (My excitement for X/Y is finally starting to wear down) But, my team turned out to be pretty good, so I kept playing until I reached a top point. For the first several days of playing this, my only loss was one guy who got really butthurt from me using double Team(I Would think), and refused to make a turn, so after 20 minutes, I eventually quit and stopped playing. It happened again last time I was playing and now I'm done for a while.
Anyway, I made this team because I wanted to use to awesomeness that is a sea of fire. For those that aren't aware, It's Fire Pledge + Grass Pledge. After, as I was building, I thought, "Hey, Hail is cool, Let's use that too!"
So... Without further ado, let's look at the players!

HOW'D WE ALL GET HERE?

At the start, I wanted to be able to use the awesomeness of a sea of fire. Not really a good strategy, but man does that sound badass. looking at some of the starters, I picked Infernape and one of my personal favourites, Bayleef

At this point, I thought, hey! Hail's cool, I should add that. And so I added Abomasnow, and to abuse hail, Frosslass and Glaceon, two of my favourite Ice types. Some random attempts with odd movesets and pulling some BS ideas, I managed to find some good movesets and stuff for each of them.

Now, I thought a little bit, pondered a while, and thought, man ,I've heard nothing but bad things about being against Yache-Dragons and Occa Steel types, so I thought... this can be dealt with. Therefore, Unnerve was thought of. After looking at some pokemon with the ability, I thought Aerodactyl would best fit my team.

Glaceon was having trouble. Nothing really, but everything I had her doing, Froslass seemed to be able to do better. Glaceon's cool, but she wasn't fit for the team. So I picked some pokemon randomly, and the third or 4th one, I came across Rotom, and thought, hmm... Everyone loves him in OU...
*Point to note: The first steps actually occurred over about 10 minutes, this team was made really on the spot and randomly. I did end up adding Rotom later though, after realizing Glaceon wasn't a goo fit.
DEEP AS AN EMO KID:

Abomasnow @ Iron Ball
Trait: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Mild Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Blizzard
- Attract
- Ice Shard
- Protect
A Hail team needs Abomasnow, does it not? anyway, 0 IVs and Iron Ball seems to be enough that every other weather-setter is slower than it (I guess Hippowdown could do it, but that never happened with me) Anyway, Protect is self-explanatory, ditto for Blizzard and Ice Shard. Attract was for any pokeon I thought wouldn't e of major harm, but are going to be around a while. Pokemon like Cressila (With a gender) could be pseudo-hadicapped by attract, allowing me to focus on the bigger threats first. Besides, Abomasnow is one sexy beast:

Froslass (F) @ BrightPowder
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Double Team
- Protect
- Thunderbolt
- Blizzard
Now that we have some snow, we need someone to use it. And what's better than hax? nothin', nothin' at all. When I send her and Abomasnow out, Its surprising just how many people immediately go for Abomasnow, allowing Froslass to set up a DT. and with Snow Cloak and Brightpowder, that's usually all she needs. Blizzard is self-explanatory/STAB, and Thunderbot is for any non-Ground Water types I run into. Protect there is pretty much just filler. It was mimic, which I had for gimmicky purposes, but It wasn't seeing any use. Nontheless, abusing hax allowed Froslass to become the top member of my team.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Pain Split
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
Everyone's favourite Washing machine! Too bad they aren't at more Laundromats. Pretty standard moveset, but it works. Will-O-Wisp to cripple Physical attackers, Hydro Pump/Thunderbolt for STAB/Coverage, pain Split for recovery. Nothing special about this guy really, besides being awesome.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Fire Pledge
- Heat Wave
- Focus Blast
- Rock Slide
My Fire starter of choice. He's got to be pretty powerful if he manages to b e able to fight well if he can live through having his head on fire all the time. Heat Wave and Rock Slide are double-pokemon attacks, and Focus Blast for more STAB. 3 moves seem more than good enough to cover most threats, so Fire Pledge is the move I need to set up my combo that started this whole team. Fire Pledge really isn't used that often, but from time-to-time, Its used, and makes a super powered Grass attack that Bayleef can do quite a fair amount of damage even with her pitiful Sp. Attack stat. With help from Aerodactyl, Heat Wave can kill Occa Metagross/Scizor, and Fighting berry Tyranitar, all while laughing in their weak faces.

Aerodactyl @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Aqua Tail
- Fire Fang
- Dragon Claw
My answer to those pokemon who think they can stand up to Type-strong opponents. Unnerve makes your stupid berries worthless! I really love it when someone has a Scizor out and I switch Aerodactyl in just when Infernape uses Heat Wave and brutally murders them. Always enjoy that. Anyway, despite that being the purpose brought it in for, It still also manages to be one badass physical sweeper. Outspeed everyone and everything, and murdering things with STAB Rock Slide. everything else is kinda filler.

Bayleef @ Eviolite
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 186 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 66 Def
Bold Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Reflect
- Grass Pledge
- Leech Seed
*Gasp* Huh, Bayleef? What kind of Ostrich ruling hell have we entered? naw, But Bayleef is awesome. Eviolite and that random EV Spread I gave it makes it super bulky, and its rare Pure-Grass typing allows it to resist EQ. Reflect, because everything Special tended to Murder my team anyway, and there seems to be more Physical attackers in Doubles. Leech Seed for recovery, works very well when t takes little damage, and can recover ~13% from two opponents each turn. Aromatherapy to prevent status' from ruining my team's momentum, and Grass Pledge for the other half needed for my inagural combo, as well as preventing Bayleef from turning into crap among Taunting. Oddly enough, while even I was expecting BAyleef to kinda be dead weight, it has been one of my teams best in the occurrences I've used her (usually go for just sweepers)
THIS IS THE END
