So.. no Dragon typing for Mega CHarizard? SR says hi.
Are its types even confirmed? I didn't watch it THAT carefully, but I didn't see it. And since even Ampharos got dragon, what would be the point of taking it away from poor Charizard.
EDIT: Found it on the website. Yeah...that sucks.
Mega Venusaur gets Thick Fat.
Isn't this kind of a downgrade from the Chlorophyll? I mean, Thick Fat is awesome and all, but the previous ability IMO seemed better.

It really sucks that an annual fee must be paid in order to transfer your Pokemon, but I also really appreciate the fact that gamefreak is going out of their way to maintain servers in order for us to do this. Thanks guys! :)

The kanto evos look.... Alright. I'm not extremely impressed but I'll take them. Venuaur is pretty offensive in OU and it'll be cool to see it take a more defensive turn with this mega evolution.

Charizard is apparently getting a special attack boost which will be ridiculous. Yeah, it's 4 times weak to Stealth Rock, but so is Yanmega and Volcarona and many many more competitively viable Pokemon.

Also I was planning on doing a mono-fire run this gen and the fact that I'll now have a Charizard on my team just makes it even more awesome.

Ok I'm being really dumb because I can't find where it says what abilities they have on the official website. -_-
They haven't been. But if they had been retyped, it would have been mentioned. Maybe they are retyped. We just have to wait. Hopefully CoroCoro will bring something more.

I believe Charizard is still Fire/Flying because it is seen in Mega for in a a Sky Battle, and as we know ONLY Flying Types or Levitaters can participate.

Charizard and Venusaur got incredible boons in abilities and stats, but blastoise's ability mega launcher seems pretty tame otherwise, as it boosts only "pulse moves"

Drought Ninetales is still more useful than Drought Mega Charizard. Unlike Ninetales, Charizard needs to stay in for one turn to Mega Evolve to set up the ability and considering that it gets Raped by Stealth Rock, it could possibly be KOed on the switch and before it could get a chance to Mega Evolve so yeah...

Was it only myself who was most excited about the new Pokemon icons? Huge improvement on the last three generations:

The circled Pokemon though... is that new? It's the only one I didn't instantly recognise.

It would make it an incredible wall. Leech seed synthesis, toxic, 1/2 of it's weaknesses nullified and greater defenses

Thick Fat Venusaur in Rain with Weather Ball, boo ya.
Bye bye Ferrothorn.
I feel as if Hydro Cannon is going to be a "pulse move". That and/or it gets something nice like a 2x boost to them which could be reasonable considering the crazy abilities everything else got that are way better.
Also, I think they will introduce more pulse moves, but 120 bp water pulse isn't horrible and 160 BP Dark Pulse is sweet.
300 BP nuke hydro cannon would be legit

Edit: oh and they might give it dragon pulse. They are giving it to Ampharos to use its MEvo, same thing basically.

Hopefully the Kanto starters will have their DW abilities, cos that would be amazing! Vanasaur your finally mine.

Also Poke Bank reminds me of Pokecheck which is free. So guess which one I'll most likely be using!

675 Power with STAB and Rain Boosted. Hydro Cannon an option competitively?! Who would have thought?
