Dicks, I meant or instead of and. I'll leave it there for prosperity. However, my serp at least, generally runs HP fire (because screw scizor). Since thick fat isn't a thing yet, at the most it'll take 1 boost to guarantee a KO. Either way, point still stands that vensuar needs sun to do anything

Haha, screw that noise. I simply don't play with folks that don't like unreleased DW (which as far as hardware goes, has been nobody). Problem solved for me =P

He's not invincible by any means though. Scizor remains an omnipresent threat, depending on your moveset

That we know of. If every starter before gen VI is getting a Mega Evo, there might be 1 from every gen that gets 2. Why can't people just accept that the design of both Mega Evos, as well as the abilities and options that are now available with each are genuinely badass? And you spelled Charizard wrong

Totally agreed. Both of Charizard's Mega Evolutions have excellent niches. I'm really excited about running Mega Charizard Y on a Sun team.

Or Venusaur can just retaliate with Sludge Wave.
 
I wonder if Blastoise and Venusaur will be getting separate X and Y Mega forms like Charizard and Mewtwo. I think if every mega pokemon gets X and Y Mega forms it would be too much though.

Thank You! I can't wait either. I want to run Mega Charizard X too, I've always wanted to go physical with Charizard for the move pool but he's never had the physical attack stat to do it :/ now his stat is increased and his ability powers up physical moves. Outrage/Dragon Claw, Flare Blitz/some new fire move, Earthquake, and Crunch/Shadow Claw seems like a decent set!

Except HP fire from 75 Sp. Atk. is the best Serp can hit it with, while Venusaur has STAB sludge bomb. It also laughs at Leaf Storm. Don't get me wrong, though, I love Serperior. It would probably solid UU in BW with Contrary.

I wonder if there'll be a mega Dragonite. I mention this because, given the naming schemes of Mega Stones, his would... Dragonite...ite? Dragonitenite? Seems kinda jarring.

Do we know if it's possible to get a Venusaurnite if we picked Charmander at the beginning? Just wondering if trading a Venusaur from a previous game will be enough to use its Mega form. People wouldn't be very willing to part with their mega stones if there was only one of each in the game.
