Pokémon XY Leaks

Im disappointed in the current special nerfs. How are we supposed to knock out those tanky pokemon like mamoswine and torterra knowing that the damn power moves were nerfed like this. I hope gamefreak unnerfs the power moves next gen.
I actually looked some calcs and many high special attacking pokemon can still do damage. Infernape with 76 EV's still fucks the dragons or anybody quad weak to it and Pokemon like Latios still OHKO a Scizor with HP Fire. If anything thanks to the rain nerf HP Fire is still viable.

In remember reading an article that illegally created pokemon can't be traded over. So hopefully they did a full crack down on cheating. Where are te days where we would take the time to create the perfect pokemon
Personally i wouldnt mind them making all Ivs 31. Having to grind for endless hours in order to get a competitively usable pokemon just plain sucks. 1 speed Iv is the difference between a win and a loss. If Ivs dont change i am hoping the only things that dont work are pokemon with illegal abilities/stats meaning "legal hacks" from say pokegen would get past the ban

As far as hidden abilities in the hordes, one doesn't need to make a random guess as to which Pokemon has the desired ability. You would use moves against it and try various tactics to draw it out.

For stats, I get
Gourgeist: 70 / 80 / 120 / 50 / 75 / 90, 485 BST

Quite lacking in offenses, but decent speed and physical bulk.

That's....that is really disappointing. Thanks for posting that since I now have an open spot on my team after seeing those stats.

Hm....I am rather okay with this actually. Kind of what I expected. Is there any news on what the small size thing was about? Also, is it's other ability confirmed to be natural cure?

I don't know that Gourgeist's other ability was Natural Cure? People might be mistaking it with Trevenant, whose two abilities are Frisk and Natural Cure.

Yeah, I think a lot of the new Pokemon have "raised the bar" and now everyone's expecting the remaining new Pokemon to have BSTs around 550 like Pangoro. Gourgeist is fine for what it is, and I kinda expect stats like that too (although 90 speed honestly shocked me, lol).

As for the size thing, there has only been an NPC who stated he saw a giant Gourgeist, but I don't think anyone's found one yet.

Oh, really? I'd really like to know what it's other ability is....there is also a chance the ability changes when it evolves, so....I plan to use this regardless, but I'd like to know how creative I have to get to make it good. >.<

I wonder if it is simply cosmetic or if it actually changes anything about the pokémon...

And then there's Gen 6 hidden abilities. Eh, I guess it could be fun trying to find them, especially since a lot of gen 6 Pokemon (Ahem, Pyroar and Sylveon) have less then stellar abilities. I think Magic Guard is a great fit with Sylveon's design. (Hint hint)

Pumpkaboo had Frisk and Pickup. As far as I know, we haven't seen if Pickup changes upon evolution yet.

...if ever there was a Grass-type who could have Flash Fire...

Has there been any confirmation on the possibility of Gen VI hidden abilities? Because there's a possibility it will get a good one through that. I agree. Flash fire is possible...seeing how 50% of the design is a living candle.

Do you guys know why Mega Gengar gets shadow tag?

I gotta dig up my post that called this one :P

Here's the Mewtwo's base stats, so we can get exactly how absurd MegaMewTwoY is.

Quirky
HP 240
Attack 170
Defense 152
Sp.Atk 242
Sp.Def 139
Speed 208
A Perfect IV Mewtwo at Lv 70, quirky with no EVs, would have the following stats:250/180/152/242/152/208. Close but no cigar. This Mewtwo has perfect IVs in SpA, Def, and Speed though, which is awesome. Its HP IV is 17, ATK is 17, and SpD is 12.

If that's the apparent IV spread for every Pokemon from here on in that we see, then yes IVs are gone. If not... they remain. sorry guys

I think the question is whether super training can max out the pokemon to the point of 31 IVs and 252 Evs from say 17 IVs and 0 EVs. Are IVs lumped into base stats?

That is a good question. Traditional EV training is a certain no, but super training's a maybe.
