They also revealed Mega Kangaskhan and Gengar. Can anyone confirm what type MK is? Is it still Normal type?

So, Aggron loses Head Smash stab in exchange for having the most ludicrous physical defense ever to exist. It just gets better and better.
Pure steel with filter is insane, calling out one of the best defensive ones in the game. Losing STAB on Head Smash/SE is quite a tradeoff, mh.
With its type now being pure Steel and its ability being Filter, it only takes 1.5x damage from Fire, Fighting, and Ground-type attacks.
tanking pretty much every attack ever with its new fantastic ability and probably base 3000 defense

So, it uses the move secret power? Kinda less than impressive for a giant turkey snake.

Man, now this sounds really damn awesome.
While I agree that I will miss those no recoil head smashes, but FILTER Steel type just sound awesome and it's totally worth it. One of the best defensive typings out there, and I'm pretty sure they'll give him some attack for free as well, making him pretty damn good hard hitting tank as well. Me Gusta ladies and gentlemen, me gusta ;).
I just hope he does not keep Rock typing in the end... it's REALLY not worth it in the end. Being slaughtered by ALL random fighting and ground moves while being so slow (I doubt they increase his speed drastically) will make him too easy to kill/revenge kill. If he is Rock/Steel - Use Normal Aggron and slap Choice Band. No Recoil Head Smashes are too good to let them go like this.
Thank goodness. Aggron is an old favorite of mine. I'm going to enjoy wrecking people with its Mega-Evolved form.
Theoretically it does retain it's typing, just not all of it. :D
