Where can you get into a quick, easy Double Battle? My Smeargle needs to Sketch Curse and Slack Off. I don't think the Vs. Seeker can rematch Double Battles. . .
 
Ok, this is a really newb question, but what is "competitor"? I see it on the forums a lot but I don't really know what it is. Thanks.
 
Will the effect of Roar and Whirlwind go through Substitute? Also, will the accuracy be lowered by Double Team?

How about Haze or Taunt?
 
No, besides Soundproof, there is no real difference between Roar and Whirlwind, just like Heal Bell and Aromatherapy.

I just listed both because they do the same thing.
 
Roar/WW will go through a sub. Haze will as well. I don't know about Taunt or Roar/WW accuracy, but Haze is perfect accuracy.

PP Ups are common in competitive.
 
adamant, i beleive, was the standard since motor drive gave it an exceptional speed boost anyway, but now, to compete with opposing electivires with motor drive, more people are running jolly.

also, i just wanted to thank you both for the bit of information on rainfall and rain dance.
 
Taunt does not go through subs in this Gen.

For ev training- lets say i had a poke with pokerus and a power item, if he won the battle by himself with no help, he would get 10 EVs. What would the distributuion be if i had the poke (above) out first then switched out to a different poke without an item or rus? (i really only care about how many evs the top one would get)

You can rematch doubles with the Vs. Seeker. The easiest are the twins south of Floaroma, with 2 level 9 Pachirisus.
 
If you switch a pokemon out to another pokemon, will the first pokemon(has pokerus + macho brace) recieve full EV's with macho brace and pokerus accounted in, or will it be halfed?

Exactly what i had asked, except for power items...is there a difference do you think?
 
I have two small questions...is it possible to breed both Curse and Slack off onto Hippowdon, and is curse worth the effort for a stealth rock based moveset?
 
Does the effects of POKERUS last even when a pokemon has become immune to it?

eg. still gain double ev's when there is a smiley face.
