How do I stop my game from loading the last page of my journal when I start up? Didn't use to do it but it is now on both my cartridges X_x

I think it only does that when you haven't played for 24 hours or more. Just load up your save file, exit the journal, then save it again, and it should stop.
 
Do I want Lum or Shuca on my Wifi Tower and the like Metagross? I'm scared of things like CBChomp, CBMence, Singbliss/Hypnosis Gengar etc...

I was considering Sleep Talk on Metagross, but I dunno.

I'd go for shuca, im doing room 7 and i see a garchomp every other trainer :/ its scary, i was forced to use gengar to avoid those mean EQ's

Here's the exact location: when you get to the sandy area, surf down on the left side (you should see a row of trees). When you get to the end of the row of trees, talk to the left side of the last tree and you'll find the PP Max.

Any Wall reasonably high Def AND SpDef(both 270) with a healing move not called REST and able to setup StealtRock who does not need breeding to require the moveset to recommend????
 
hi, just a few things i need to know. it's been said that Rainfall in 1v1 battles increases the damage that Surf does. i'm not sure if it's been like that in ADV, but what i especially wanted to know is that if it is true, does Waterfall get any kind of damage boost?
 
Rain Dance has increased damage that water type moves deal by 1.5x since however long it has been in existence (were they in G/S/C?). so yes waterfall would get the same damage boost as Aqua Jet/Surf/Bubblebeam/Water Pulse.

The same goes for Sunny Day and fire type attacks. conversely, they reduce the damage the opposing elemental deals by 1.5x as well (Sunny day reduces water, Rain Dance reduces fire)

Stone Edge/Earthquake are Battle tower point TMs I believe. check GameFAQs: Pokemon Diamond (DS) TM/HM List by Platinum Sonic 10 if you don't believe me. I know for sure EQ is bought at BT.
 
I didn't see this question asked anywhere, but here goes.

When a Pokemon uses Roost at full HP, do it still lose its Flying type?

For example, if a Skarmory went first (Bear with me) and used Roost at full health, could it be hit by Earthquake?

I'm pretty sure that's a no.

If you Trick your Choice item and get another Choice item, are you locked into Trick? Also, what about the Pokemon who got Tricked?
 
The pokemon who got tricked is locked into the move that they just used.
However, Im not so sure about if you recieve a choice item, but Im guessing that you can pick a different move
 
Is it possible to get thunder fang onto a growlithe?

And I seem to have read somewhere that yes, when a flying pokemon uses roost it looses the advantages and disadvantages of being flying for one turn, meaning that it could get hit by EQ.

He asked if it still happens if you roost at full HP, in which case the attack "fails". I think no.
