If my partner pokemon has lightning rod, I will be unable from hitting the opponent with any electric attack, including thunder wave, correct?

@peachy243: The notion that Rare Candies were "bad" was started by people who didn't understand how the stat system worked; they just took a Pokemon that was Rare Candied and a Pokemon that was trained, saw that the trained one had higher stats, and immediately concluded that Rare Candies were bad for raising Pokemon.

@Pyfe: That's correct.

@Choco: You can't. Zen Headbutt and Hypnosis come only from Noctowl, who can't pass down Brave Bird and Pursuit.

How do the Power Items work with Pokerus? Let's say I'm fighting that Bidoof lady south of Solaceon. I would normally gain 25 EVs (5 Bidoofs times 5 EVs per Bidoof with Power Weight) after the battle. Would I gain 50 with Pokerus?

Could this set work on a Tyranitar?

Sassy/Brave/Relaxed

252 Attack, 252 Special Defense, 6 Defense?

Curse
Pursuit/Crunch
Stone Edge
Thunderbolt

EDIT: Added Thunderbolt for Skarmory (heh, Boah), and I need some help with EVs.

adman, that could work. It'd be a pain in the ass to take down, for sure.

Here's a not so simple question: How am I supposed to convince someone that Burn Orb Milotic isn't a good idea? Every time I tell him that Milotic should not be losing 1/8 a turn and instead should have Lefties, he spams Recover. And Swagger.

I'm pretty sure the exp sharer gets the same amount of EVs the fighter gets, save the fighter holding a macho brace or a power item. For example, if you fought a Haunter, which gives 2 Spatk EVs, the exp sharer would get 2 Spatk EVs, and 4 if it has pokerus.

Perhaps show them how fast Milotic can get injured in a Sandstorm when it's Burned+without leftovers? That, and add some attack from a wall like a Blissey S-Toss/Dusknoirs Thunderpunch into the mix, and Milotic will be Recovering EVERY turn. And remind them that it only gets worse when your taking, say, a CB Heracross's Megahorn.

what is the percentage of getting a 31/31/x/x/x/31 IVs baby, with speed last, with those parents: (M) 31/x/31/x/31/x and (F) x/31/x/x/x/31 with speed last again?

EDIT: found it, and if I'm right it is 1/219 or 0.457%

Use Taunt Gyarados against it to stop Recover. The most Milotic can do with 266SpAtk Ice Beam is 91 (if you have a 31SpDef IV, and it has 31SpAtk and 120EVs) before Leftovers, and you can Taunt to stop Recover. Other than that, just put Tyranitar/Hippowdon and Blissey or someone on your team and you'll wear it down.

Fighterman: I think there's something about that in the Breeding Guide in the Contributions section.

For my own question: I asked this before, but don't think I got more than 1 reply. Which one of these should I use as a lead with Focus Sash; Aerodactyl or Lucario? Yes, I should use Weavile or whatever else, but I want to use one of those. I can't decide, since Aero is faster than almost everything, but Lucario can use Agility and be faster than everything and has special attacks to use incase of Intimidate leads. I know they're totally different so it's probably not that easy to answer though.

Flameclaw: Dragon/Fire
Ballbreak: Ghost/Fight (or Dark/Fight)
Quakeslide: Rock/Ground

Then there's the nameless Ice/Ground and Water/Normal.

WaterNormal can be WaterTurn (Waterfall + Return)

Which pokemon resist each one of those typings? I know for sure Empoleon and Dialga resist FlameClaw and WaterTurn. Shedinja is obvious on some of them.

A few questions from a fellow at GameFAQs, i'm not sure of the answers to all of them. Here they are:

Okay...
1- How much extra damage will a critical hit do?
2- What are the regular odds for a critical hit?
3- If a move has a "high critical-hit ratio" what are the odds of a critical hit?
4- If the moves special effect is listed as "high critical-hit ratio" will serene grace effect it?
5- How much do the items "Razor claw" and "Zoom lens" increase critical hit ratio by?
6- How much does the move "Focus energy" increase critical hit ratio by?
7- Is "Focus energy" Baton-passable?

I assume that it works just like all other boostable stats, but does anybody have numbers to put behind them?

Although I still need the answer to my question, I have another one.

I'm having a hard time differentiating Pokesav pokes from legit ones. Aside from the obvious hacked stats, shininess, weird pokeballs and weird locations, how can I tell if a pokemon is hacked?

Which pokemon should say "Arrived at Lvl suchandsuch" and which ones should say the location and then "Apparently met at blabla" because I have a friend's Azelf that says the first thing and then someone else's Azelf saying the second.

Arrived means the Pokemon is migrated, so if you see an Advance exclusive Pokemon, they should be "arrived." Apparently met/hatched means the Pokemon was captured/hatched in DP.

Does PBR level up your Pokemon like WiFi does in D/P when you're playing multibattle? (I need to know for the Gamestop tournament)

All palparked pokemon are "Arrived at x level". If your first Azelf says "Arrived from <location> at Level x", then it's hacked, since Azelf isn't in the GBA games.
Azelfs should all be met at Valor Cavern, at level 50.
