What ball and gender is the Mienfoo?
I don't do ball catches. I don't find it worth it to worry about a 2 second animation that has no effect on a match. so, it's probably a repeat, also I have male and female mienfoos.

I have exactly this, but I purposely put it in a Quick Ball because I felt it matched better, and my Salamence is in a Great Ball. Is that something that's still of interest to you or are you dead-set on a Great Ball Gabite?
What ball is Joltik in?
Yeah, it really needs to be in a great ball. I've already a Quick Ball Gible.

It affects how well the ball matches the pokemon. :/
