Sadly yes, I hadn't the time to look through the hole code, to find a way without having more connections (if it's even possible), but it does not use the virtual router thing, which caused a lot of problems.
Why should we use the Virtual Router anyway, if Windows is able to do the same thing ^^?

Curious, I downloaded your modified version of InstacheckHotspot, but it's still giving me an error ''Virtual Router Plus has stopped working''.
Do you have .NET framework installed?
And what OS do you use?
In regards to your second point.
It should be there. The picture below shows mine and I've underlined the area where it appears. If it really isn't there, then I don't know. o_o
Yes, 4.5 and using vista 32 bit.
I will try to completely remove the Virtual Router (atm it is just not used), maybe this is causing the Problem.

I would be very grateful, it seems virtual router is the cause of the problem as Tradechecker starts up fine without any error.
All right! I even got my hotspot working again, so ready to test this out! Whoo! (I hope my HomePass is working too... only way for me to get StreetPasses.)
Yeah, a Hotspot is the only way for it to work, since the program reads the data passing through the PC.
As to that Shiny Egg, here's my view (before I am permanently labeled an "evil's friend" or some stupid thing like that:
-THIS IS A GAME. It really is. It sucks, but that happens. I was once cloning my lucky Shiny Dialga back in Diamond via the GTS (using an impossible trade), and ended up losing it. It happens. That doesn't make them criminals for life and no one should trade/battle/chat/see them. It just means they were a jerk that time.
Meh, whatever. I look forward to PokeGen for Gen VI anyways.

*points her finger and screams* EVIL'S FRIEND! D:!! I'm kidding. :p I agree with you that this is only a game. You're absolutely right. Could you imagine spending 10 hours a day for 5 days straight breeding eggs all day to get that specific egg and finally getting the egg and some lazy person robbing you blind? :p I dunno about you but I would be furious about it for a day or two then just get over it but I'd still be angry and hope they have a younger sibling to reset their game for them as they sleep and lose all their information. >.>
I literally have no idea what to do. I managed to connect my 3ds to the internet using the hotspot, but when i open up the instacheck, there are no options to choose in the dropdown box, which means i cant find out any information. My laptop has both wifi and an ethernet cable attatching it to the router. Here is a picture:

WinPCap didn't install correctly. Try:
Go to C/D/Whichever drive you use->Windows-> SysWOW64-> Find and delete/rename "wpcap.dll" and "packet.dll"
Reinstall WinPCap
^_^; I wouldn't go that far... Losing a day or two is nothing compared to losing EVERYTHING. And without PokeGen (or an equivalent)... T_T

i have neither wpcap.dll or packet.dll in my SysWOW64
Losing a day or 2? 10 hours a day for 5 days is 50 hours, which is more than most people work in 1 week! Even though it is not 50 consecutive hours it is a long time to spend on eggs. It is hard for a person to feel empathy with this scenario if you have not experienced it yourself.
I'd much rather have legit Pokemon that fake/cheated PokeGen ones.
Yeah, I prefer legit too (BEST thing about this generation so far! NOT HACKABLE! yet...). But I'll settle for 'technically legit' any day if it means it'll work anyways (I don't do blatant hacked, except for personal non-battle fun).
I have had equivalent. It sucks, but in the end, data. I got over it. (similarly (not my example though), try accidentally re-formatting your 3TB drive... O_O I was able to recover only about half...)

So I'm struggling pretty badly with this program because I cannot seem to run it period. I'm on a VISTA Pc and When I click the program it says:

And when I tried to do step #3 my Command Prompt said:
The following command was not found: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow.
I went to step 1A and it mentioned my NIC and I did this and I updated all the drivers. It says I have a NIC called Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter #2 and it says it isn't working properly but when I update it says it is up to date and when I check for solutions it starts to check them the window disappears and nothing happens. If I could get help from anyone that understands what I need to do I'd appreciate the help fully because I want to try to help provide shinies to people. Thank you all so very much!

Did you get any errors when installing WinPCap? Because AFAIK, it's only grey like that if WinPCap wasn't installed correctly
I dont recall installing WinPCap at all, Im on a new laptop so there must be something that did the job for me
Nope. Go to the first post, download and install WinPCap.
Alright, ive downloaded WinPCap, deleted intsacheck and re-downloaded it. Its trying to extract it using this programme, which im pretty sure was what my pc used to extract instacheck the last time:
There's no such thing as "technically legit". An illegitimate poke that looks like a real one is a legal pokemon, not a legit one.
Legallity doesn't really require legitimacy, and that applies IRL too.
