Oh okay, that's what I thought. 95 * 3 would've been too broken.
Breeding questions
So, I read X-Act and Peterko's breeding guide and understand that gender, nature and ability of an egg is determined when the Daycare Man gets it, and that IVs are determined when he gives it to you.
My question is: which point is the point at which shinyness is determined? I'd assume its when the daycare man gets it, but I'd like to be sure.
Also, as I was typing this up I started to wonder when a Wurmple's evolution is decided as well. I'd assume this too is when the daycare man gets it, but again, it would be nice to be sure.

If an opposing pokemon explodes, and your pokemon survives it, then your pokemon explodes, does it fail or do you faint?
@gearhead: The Power items won't lower your actual Speed stat; it's just while you hold the item, much like Iron Ball and Macho Brace.

The second one is true. However, I assume that unless for some odd reason Run Away became Pick up and Pick up became Technician, it should be Run Away that turns into Technician.

I'm curious here.. how is STAB for Hidden Power determined? I know it's pointless to have a STAB Ghost HP, for example, but say a Normal special sweeper had HP. Would it get STAB regardless of the HP's attack type?
absolutely none, STATSwise. However, movewise the babies may learn some early, but some not at all. Check Serebii to see for the individual babies.
What is the quickest way to raise happiness? I am currently planning on using the EV-reducing berries.
No, normal types cannot have STAB on any Hidden Power, seeing as there is no Hidden Power Normal.
In order to get STAB on say, HP Dragon, the Pokemon with the HP Dragon must be part-dragon. You have to be the same type as your Hidden Power (battle type, not move description, which always say normal) to get STAB on it.

Hmm... if I remember correctly, my Pickup Aipom was Pal Parked and it changed upon evolution.
I think non-Pal Parked Aipom with Run Away will be Technician.

how do i obtain a smeargle with spore? Do I have to battle a friend via ds to ds or wifi and have them spore me and then I sketch it., or is there a way i can obtain this in the game itself.
