Hey, those are both valid. Belly Drum + Aqua Jet Azumarill is legal now, and Talonflame really would be a good counter to something like, say, Emboar. (I know Emboar is RU; I was just picking something that would counter Forretress, itself be countered by Talonflame, and possibly be slow enough for Forretress to Volt Switch on before getting roasted.)

Does Protect have more PP than King's Shield? 'Cause if it does, then I could see the logic behind this... faulty logic, yes, but at least making some kind of sense. (Oh, and King's Shield does protect from status moves, right? I've seen a rumor that it doesn't, which would be another reason to run Protect.)

It's not a rumor. King's Shield does not protect from status moves.

Still, there's no reason to use it over King's Shield.

Some of these people sound like geniuses. Air Balloon gives your Pokemon something to play with in between turns, what's wrong with that? But seriously, some of these things aren't too bad, given that I don't have any context to go by. For example, Fire Blast isn't a bad move for Salamence, since it can roast steel types that would otherwise resist an Outrage.

I wish replays worked now. Just came across an entire team with Belly Drum. Mega Charizard X, Linoone, Darmanitan, Poliwrath, Hariyama, Lickilicky.
