Defog removed stones on enemy side of field but not mine, enemy pokemon was damp toxicroak with poison touch, no other entry hazards or weather effects were in play, defog accuracy debuff was still applied
 
Zapdos's Hidden Ability is confirmed to have been changed to Static, but Showdown still lists it as being Lightning Rod.

The client is not updated. You can use Static and not Lightning Rod in battles.

There seems to be some weird interaction bug, involving torment, a choice item and pressure.

The situation was like this, me (using Deoxys-D in a 1v1 game) playing against a Deoxys-S. I'm tormented, have a choice scarf, and thus, I have to struggle every other turn. This, somehow, negates my opponent's pressure ability. In fact, I used recover a total of 9 times, (which shouldn't be possible with pressure, since recover has 16 PP).

Before using it for the last time, on turn 18, Recover showed that it had 8 PP (forgot to take screenshot during the game, and "instant replay" doesn't show the PP of moves, sorry about that).

Nevermind, I'm just retarded.
"When a Pokémon with Pressure is targeted by a foe's move, one additional PP is deducted upon execution. Consequently, extra PP is deducted even if the foe's move misses, has multiple targets, or is rendered ineffective due to immunity."

Meaning that Recover is never affected by pressure in the first place. So there's no bug. My bad.

I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong thread. Not sure where to put it.

I've been having minor issues opening PS. I downloaded the program, and have been using it instead of the browser-based version. Sometimes, when I boot up PS it fails to initialize; The window opens, and it gets stuck on a plain white loading screen. Closing it and trying again usually solves the problem, but I just tried leaving it for a while to see if it was just taking a while, and got this:

My understanding of this stuff is rudimentary at best, but... PS tries to connect to the server, and there's an unhandled exception at the above addresses which crashes the script. Would this be an error, or just a hiccup in my internet connection?

Also, is teambuilderroom a chat room, like the lobby, or the team builder?
 
This is really really seriously minor but in Pokebank smogdubs if you use Hyper Beam against a Pokemon who uses Protect that turn it shows the "recharge" thing under it's name even though it doesn't have to. It's just confusing for opponents and they say it is.

Oh, i also just fought a Defog Scizor which is also illegal for the pre-PokeBank metagame, but i forgot to take a picture.

So I believe chatter seems to be not working properly?
atleast not in balanced hackmons.

I've yet to see a single confusion out of this 100% confusion move.

anyway, I have contrary on my Serperior and for some reason it says that Serperior cannot have Conrtary.
Im trying OU at the moment and when I tried Gen 5, it didnt work and when i tried Pokebank OU it still didnt work.
it worked yesterday but not today for some reason

Contrary was never released during BW. Because it is not available legally in any 5th generation game, it is not available for use in most formats.
 
The PS desktop app has been acting up for me lately. Oftentimes, it freezes out of nowhere, which forces me to close out of the app and then re-open it. I know that my internet is not at fault because I've never had this issue with the web version. Has anybody else had this problem?

this isn't exactly a bug but I think it should be changed.
It would be nice if we could choose to put 5 pp on trump card or at least make it the default number of pp for the move because of how it works and how you just want that big 190 bp hit asap.

In a battle Trump Card does have 5 PP despite what the max PP says in the teambuilder. Having 8 PP would be entirely counterproductive, as you mentioned.
 
During a battle, I used protect and whirlwind worked through it.
