Simple Questions/Requests - Mark 31 (Minor Pokemon Trades, Item Requests etc GO HERE)

I have a question, how to check after getting yveltal or xerneas? I mean I want to catch a good modest or timid one but I dunno how to check the stats for IV if it's good or not without the help of that guy in kiloude which is not available yet at this point of game. If we do it via instacheck the game will be saved before trading and it's not a good one if you are trying to do soft reset if you got the bad one. Anyone can help me out?
