Can we please use more to analyze who the "best WRs in the league" are other than their receiving yards? Josh Gordon has had a big season, but that's more a product of him being literally the only option to go to in the offense. He is a great receiver don't get me wrong, but you can't simply judge people by one stat. Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best WRs I've seen in the last 20 years, based on what I've watched in his route running and amazing skill and agility in catching balls. He doesn't get to put up Josh Gordon stats because his team actually has a running game to speak of, and there are other WRs to throw to.

You just kind of proved my point about Josh Gordon. Not only is he the only decent offensive player on that roster, meaning he gets double-teamed and covered by the defense's best corners, but he is also getting the ball thrown at him by the likes of Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell, and yet he is STILL on pace for like 1,800 yards and shit and he even missed a couple games!

And because you did that I get to do this:

Peyton Manning Career Home Stats:
65.9% Completion (2725 Completions/4134 Attempts) 7.81 Yards per Attempt (32288 Total Yards) 253 TDs 96 Ints
Win-Loss: 90-29

Peyton Manning Career Away Stats:
64.9% Completion (2723 Completions/4194 Attempts) 7.56 Yards per Attempt (31721 Total Yards) 228 TDs 122 Ints
Win-Loss: 75-43

So what do we see? We see that Peyton is clearly losing more games on the road, so there is definitely a positive correlation (well done you!). However, it appears as if his performance is almost identical at home and on the road, which then completely and utterly sinks your theory that the confounding variable for Peyton's poor performance is simply by virtue of being on the road.

I dunno, a 2.63 TD/Int ratio at home vs a 1.86 TD/Int ratio on the road is nothing to sneeze at. He's got about a touchdown fewer and an interception more once every four games, which can help explain the difference in win/loss ratio.

IN A WORLD WHERE JORDAN CAMERON IS SUDDENLY SHIT.

I think you're confusing arguments here. I'm not saying that Peyton Manning is just as good on the road as he is when he's at home. Honestly, I cannot think of any legitimately consistent QB who ever shows stats of being better or even as good on the road than at home. I definitely think being away is a disadvantage, but it's a disadvantage faced by ALL QBs not just Manning and it is not in any way markedly more significant in Manning. If being away is actually the confounding variable to my assertion of "Peyton Manning is absolute shit in the 'cold' because of shitty weather and not the temperatures" then logically Peyton Manning would be absolute shit consistently when he's on the road and not just in cold weather or shitty weather conditions. But he very blatantly is not remotely shit. Worse than at home, yes, all QBs are. But not shit.

"Worse than at home, yes, all QBs are."

I lied. Just looked up some QBs. The answer is Joe Montana. Joe Cool was better on the road than he was at home. Fuck was that guy good.

Ignoring dumb, knee jerk reaction created posts i'd like to openly lol at the skins in this thread. So can i have a monent? okay here it goes, lol.

That was fun. And seriously, this should serve as a warning to you Panther, Eagles, 49ers, Lions/Bears fans, you're probably going to suck next year. Enjoy it while you can. I'd say Chiefs, but i don't think theres any here so no point.

Oh yeah, i just wanted to rub it in. LeSean McCoy is proving himself as the best RB in the league. Every single run where he doesn't get immidiatley blasted by a defender deserves a spot in a top 10 plays list.

Oh fucking hell Elam now Megatron's gonna go off for one of his signature games of 200 yards with 2 TDs while ending the Raven's playoff hopes

Now this i like. I'm still angry at the Ravens. Thought i would move on after this year and that blowout, but that announcer screaming "it's over in denver!" still haunts me and brings me so much anger.

I know i've said it a couple times that i didn't care if the broncos won the SB, that MVP + a bunch of other broken records were enough, but i think only a SB could help me begin the healing process. And if not, MVP+ broken records + Ravens missing the playoffs could be enough.

For example, i couldnt watch or talk about football for almost a year after the giants lost to the eggs in 2010, but after 2011 i find that play as entertaining and funny.

Technically a loss this week wouldn't end their playoff hopes, but Ravens need to prove they can win on the road, and the rest of the schedule is brutal (vs NE, at Cin) so it's not smart to give bulletin board material to the opponent when you need a win, no matter how unintentional or out-of-context said statement was

Ravens and Dolphins losing this week keeps the Jags in the hunt.

Eh cams number arent even that much better.

I find it funnier that redskin fans thought he was a top tier qb and anything more than a game manager. I remember some redskin fan saying he was better than lol brees. Man i dislike homers who hype up their teams after a good season. Same goes for those who crown a qb after 1 good season.

Hey, did you do your homework assignment? Don't talk to me until you do. ^_^ I haven't once hyped up Cam, but the picture was funny, but ofc you'll have something negative to say anyway.

Oh dude, i wasnt even thinking about Cam when i wrote that. The first comment was meant to be completely unrelated to the next paragraph. My mind was miles away on the second part.

But since i'm taking time to write this, i'll just say that i think Griffin is playing better this year. Last year all he did was run and complete piss easy passes to wide open receivers.

Ok so if the Patriots win this Sunday theyll be in the #1 seed with two games to go, with TEN OF THIRTEEN GAMES within a 7-point margin. All after losing their top 5 receivers from last year and losing their top defensive talent like Wilfork, Mayo, Kelly, and Talib for a few games. Is there any doubt Belichick is coach of the year?

Ron Rivera? Also you lost Welker, Gronk to injury and Hernandez. Who are your other two receivers?

if we win out Gus Bradley deserves a nod at least.

0-8 to 7-9.

I'd say wait till next year. I really think the pieces are in place for the Jaguars to at least fight for the division next season, and a really good improvement next year would probably get him one.
