Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder!

Today on Random Battle, a person quits due to Regigigas, after already having trouble with Carnivine.

I'm always hesitant to anything from Random Battles here, just because even crap like Regigigas is threatening if you don't have anything to stop it. I've ended up on the wrong side of a Regigigas in Random before just because nothing in my party had a remotely okay chance of forcing it out, statusing it, phazing it or even setting up.

Though the guy who quit was pretty silly to think Dustox Energy Ball was a good response.

On in-game WiFi rather than the OU ladder but worth reporting anyway: yesterday, I played an unrestricted battle against what turned out to be a team of 5 pikachu and a plusle.

if at first you don't sussed

Turn 1

Mandibuzz used Taunt!
The opposing Forretress fell for the taunt!

The opposing Forretress used Volt Switch!
It's super effective! Mandibuzz lost 17.0% of its health!

The opposing Forretress went back to piacarrot!

piacarrot sent out Breloom!
Turn 2

The opposing Breloom used Spore!
But it failed!

Mandibuzz used Foul Play!
It's not very effective... The opposing Breloom lost 46% of its health!
Turn 3

The opposing Breloom used Spore!
But it failed!

Mandibuzz used Foul Play!
It's not very effective... The opposing Breloom lost 41% of its health!
Turn 4

piacarrot forfeited.

Scorpiopt won the battle!

I'm starting to wonder how many new players are actually hopping on PS without fully knowing some of the new Gen VI mechanics. I just played a game not too long ago where my opponent led with Smeargle and I led with Trevenant. Turn one, he Spores and it fails, and he forfeits immediately afterwards.
