Please let me know if you have spitbacks of the following: Jolly Speed Boost Venipede, Adamant Intimidate Mawile (Female + Luxury Ball preferred), or Regenerator Slowpoke (Female + Heal Ball preferred). Wondering with the delay pokebank and all is it worth playing old gens to prepare stuff for transfer.
I missed out on gen 3/4/5 and joined back at 6 and missed out on all the nice stuff see in people's threads but dunno if its worth going back and playing old gens just to have those exclusive egg moves and legendaries

You'll probably be able to trade for most of the old stuff, so unless you really want to play the old games, it's not too necessary.
I would have played through them just so that you get to know the storyline and persons you meet through it. Also, in order to get top % legendaries :P
I couldn't resist.
I would do so if only to be able to use your own Legendaries and to get the Gen 4 Apricorn balls on females to pass them on while breeding.

Where did you drop off? Atleast you should follow the story from 4th gen through 5th due to some continuity (even if you only play it on rom for the story)

i have platinum and black. I've heard good things about heart gold soul silver maybe i can get it speed run it and just jump on to the next one. How hard is it to rng?

I have no idea, but I plan to run through my plat and RNG the legends there like.
With Black and White it is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. I found generation 4 (HGSS etc.) to have a bit more of a learning curve (though by the time BW came out I was fairly well versed in Gen IV), and I certainly prefer BW projects to anything in 4th gen but even then if you follow the guides here it can become fairly easy with some steady practice.
