Furthermore, the game between Blue J and PTR will be discounted. (so NoChance has up til the deadline to find a new player to replay that game)

Melee mewtwo would've removed our win in the case that blue J had won. Although MM2 might make some questionable decisions, he's undeniably fair. This mostly falls under team nochance's fault for not doing a background check on their team or whatnot.

i used a hidden identity so i don't get counterteamed which is still fair to some extent, call it strategy or whatever, but discounting a match is just too much
sorry Tesung , we all did a pretty good job till here,but i think you should leave too,no point in playing an unfair tournament.

and Haruno, go cry over your 6-0 and don't talk random shit like : "Smodrone is undeniably fair" or "he would have removed our win in the case that blue j had won"

I'm aware of that, which is why I didn't DQ your team. I can grant you guys a time extension if you find a new player but need some time to get the game done. It's practically the start of the week, though, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get the new game done.
 
First if all, why isn't this ogasians ruling? Also, this is complete horseshit that it wouldn't have counted if blu j had won. the whole ruling is horseshit actually. I know the the whole deal with dm and smogon, and I don't rle wanna get in some war, but shit like this makes me realize why we r at odds with you. It my team wants me to keep playing I will but otherwise I see no reason to do this bs tourney where if the guy you like loses you just say "it didn't count "
 
I contacted somebody far more familiar with tournament rulings than I am to make sure I was making a fair choice. He's not at all involved in anything that has to deal with Smogon vs DM (or whatever that shit is supposed to be lol) and didn't even know exactly who was involved. He's not a current tournament director, though, so if you'd really like me to make that extra step of contacting one, I can.

Edit: Actually, since it turns out to be more than just PTR (sasha, is a banned user as well) I think I might have to, anyways.

If a match is invalid then it is invalid, win or loss. That being said, this situation really sucks and I'm sorry that Team NoChance got screwed by childish trolls. I hope we're able to find a fair solution to this.

FWIW I think having Melee Mewtwo contact a current tournament director would be a fair idea.

Melee Mewtwo was in favour of accepting the win for Team NoChance prior to asking a tournament director. He only did that because I asked what would happen, because I also didn't know the rulings. Hence why the declaration that the win did not count came in a separate post well after the post declaring Lance banned from the tournament.

There was clearly no personal bias involved, so can we please drop the slander of Melee Mewtwo?
 
Okay, both conan (sasha) and shed skin (ptr) will have to be replaced with new players and replay their games for this week. I'll give you guys an extension to do so, you'll have until Wednesday the 22nd to have these new games finished. (keep in mind I won't be giving an extension the following week so it's in your interest to get this done quickly so they will have more time to play in the following week)

Also guys, let's cool it out here now. As far as the tournament is concerned this issue is resolved so if you REALLY need to say something, say the rest in PM.
 
Hey since we got removed because of some not reading the thread and keeping up to date properly.. and since team nochance are butthurting.. I'm just gonna suggest that team FrostBite would be happy to return into the tour for this round. I can see this being turned down, but it can't be accepted without being suggested.

Edit: Just realised we'd be vs the same team again. If anything that potentially makes it more fair.
OR we could play that gen 5 match that since butthurt actually has the time to be played (if we can get Anik onto PS or lvl 56 onto PO)

Sorry, there's a difference between replacing a few members that were banned and a team quitting. If this were a weekend tournament I wouldn't have a problem, but here the quit is going to be treated as a loss and kebabe's team will advance.
