Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

A porygon-2 set that had hidden power flying so it could switch on a taloname, trace gale wings than it got priority hidden power flying
because there totally aren't other hidden powers that give p2 better coverage

hidden power is pretty weak now, and p2 has better options if it wants to run HP. talon does priority flying moves far better than p2 ever could.

Random Shit volume 29: Icicle Crash Edition
-Superpower+Dark Pulse+Megahorn+Pursuit M-Absol.
-CB Malamar with Torment. It did at least have Switcheroo, but not before Struggling once, then having the band knocked off.
-Eviolite Clefable. That doesn't work.
-Focus Sash+Effect Spore Breloom.
-A team with Toxicroak that used EQ on Rotom-W, non-mega Manectric, Solarbeam Venusaur outside of sun (but with Tyranitar, and it used Sleep Powder on Ferrothorn), and Quick Claw+Focus Blast Snorlax.
-Protect+Leech Seed+Ingrain+SR Ferrothorn.
-Rock Slide Garchomp that caused 3 flinches on a Nidoking.
-Quick Attack Scizor.
-Reflect Type+CM+Energy Ball+T-bolt Latias. And it got a sweep.
-Two separate instances of Acrobatics Gliscor without Fling.
-A Hariyama whose sole purpose appeared to be making Talonflame kill itself. And it worked.
-Psycho Boost Deoxys-D.
-Rain Dance Rotom-W.
-Flame Burst+Fire Spin Chandelure.
-I would say Bullet Punch+Nasty Plot Lucario, but I never saw what its other two moves were. It was, however, not mega.
-Infernape using Overheat on Multiscale Dragonite. 15% is big damage, folks.
-Bounce Greninja.
-Mienshao using Poison Jab on Garchomp. Did more damage to itself.
-Welp... http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-87567629
-Incinerate Thundurus. At least it wasn't last gen.
-This is just plain cringeworthy: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-87565622
-Sucker Punch+Night Daze+Foul Play+Copycat Zoroark. And it copied Leech Seed, used by Whimsicott.
-Scald+Toxic Azumarill.

Tomorrow, in honor of Valentine's Day, I might make a team based around Attract and troll the ladder.

Why just why

Klefki used Safeguard!
Your team became cloaked in a mystical veil!

The opposing Altista xd used Spore!
But it failed!
Turn 2
You have 150 seconds to make your decision.

Klefki, come back!

Go! Heracross!

The opposing Altista xd used Spore!
But it failed!

The opposing Dark Kirby restored HP using its Black Sludge!
Turn 4
You have 150 seconds to make your decision.

The opposing Dark Kirby used Will-O-Wisp!
But it failed!

In an Ubers battle I recently had I managed to find:
-An Arceus-Fighting. With Dark Pulse?
-Poison Jab Keldeo
-Aerial Ace Yveltal
-Smeargle with Swords Dance+Explosion

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-87661116 you may proceed to laugh not only at my opponent but also at my alts name

I feel like I need to actually start playing on the simulators. Do people just forget, straight-up, that they have the ability to switch? Sure you had more entry hazards than God set up, but still, there's no excuse for sitting there derping your face against a frozen Celebi waiting for it to thaw out when he could have swapped to TTar and wrecked it. Who spams Venoshock on a non-poisoned target? Who?

*sigh* I love this thread, but damn.

I was also disappointed that you did not use the Chatot at all.

That moment when Smeargle mixes up Magic Coat with Mirror Coat.

Turn 8

Blut withdrew Greed (Conkeldurr)!

Blut sent out Envy (Mandibuzz)!

Pablo used Sticky Web!
A sticky web spreads out beneath the opposing team's feet!

Turn 9

The opposing Envy used Defog!
Pablo's evasiveness fell!
The sticky web has disappeared from beneath the opposing team's feet!

Pablo used Mirror Coat!
It doesn't affect the opposing Envy...

Turn 10

Rehabilitation: lol
Rehabilitation has 120 seconds left.
Blut: ?
Rehabilitation: Its magic coat
Blut: lol

Turn 17
Gogoat used Horn Leech!
It's not very effective...The opposing Venusaur lost 12% of its health!
The opposing Venusaur had its energy drained!
The opposing Venusaur used Leech Seed!
Gogoat's Sap Sipper raised its Attack!
Gogoat restored HP using its Leftovers!
Gogoat was hurt by poison!
Turn 18
Gogoat used Horn Leech!
It's not very effective...The opposing Venusaur lost 17% of its health!
The opposing Venusaur had its energy drained!
The opposing Venusaur used Sleep Powder!
Gogoat's Sap Sipper raised its Attack!
Gogoat restored HP using its Leftovers!
Gogoat was hurt by poison!

A few days ago, some guy's Trevenant wanted to show the world how much residual damage he could possibly deal. My Magic Guard Reuniclus shitted himself at the sight of the Curse/Leech Seed/Will-O-Wisp combo.

non-mega Manecric is viable. This thing can really hurt with a choice specs and +1 in SpA

+1 252+ SpA Choice Specs Manectric Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Rotom-W: 214-253 (70.3 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
4 SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Manectric: 186-220 (66.1 - 78.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Quick Attack Scizor is also viable to kill mons it couldn't kill usually.

252+ Atk Choice Band Technician Scizor Quick Attack vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Volcarona: 153-181 (49 - 58%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Quick Attack would outclass bullet punch in doing so? No. Bullet punch has stap and coverage.

And specs Jolteon is much better than specs manectric.
