How about a quick ball? Or a timer ball. Or even a premier ball.

Well, would you consider this a competitive Kalos shiny?: X/31/31/31/31/31 Jolly Super Luck Female Absol with Play Rough in a Dusk Ball, since a shiny Absol with Play Rough can only be bred in X and Y :P

The pokemon with trace needs to be at the front of your party so then at the beginning of the battle it will trace the ability and tell you what it is.

I bred mine in Dream Balls... Not because of its color, but because it looks like a "dreamy fairy tale dragon"! ;pBecause it's an orange-yellow:
Plus, Dream Balls are pretty rare nowadays.
You can catch Ralts with Trace just outside Santalune City
Its a problem to find them.. I prefer to decide between the common balls
Still looking for perfect 6th gen shinies.
I know it exists, but not everyone has access to it.
No more difficult connecting to it than connecting to internet, so I would say everyone do have access to it :-P
Well level up the dratini at the Battle Chateau/Elite Four or in some cases I've had pokemon pass on an egg move anyway even if they had forgotten it.
