Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Ok so far I have:

- Splash the Magikarp, can only know Splash, Tackle, Flail, and Bounce. Can only evolve if he solos a trainer.

This is for Y version, need 5 more, no starters please!

Okay, take along Superblind the Noibat!

Superblind is of the bat genus, so obviously he can't see and must use echolocation to find his prey. So obviously, he can't fight an opponent until he uses a sound move on it to locate it (sound moves = Screech, Supersonic, Boomburst, Echoed Voice, Confide, Round). Now, Superblind is a very hopeful Noibat who wants to prove himself as a worthy partner to you.

After it evolves, it learns that Dragons are basically the coolest things ever, so you must teach it a dragon type move. However it then learns that it has an evil twin- Yveltal. Superblind must claim glory and defeat its evil twin for the sake of the world. After defeating its evil twin it becomes somber and goes into a soliloquy of life and death- so it goes in to your box until you reach Snowbelle city. It emerges from its rambling when Wulfric makes fun of it for being 4x weak to ice. Enraged, it decides to solo Wulfric to prove him wrong!

After defeating his twin brother and Wulfric, Superblind is now at the pinnacle of skill- so now it can learn Boomburst, the ultimate attack!

Recap:

- Superblind the Noibat/Noivern
- Needs to use a sound move every time it encounters a new Pokemon in battles (can ignore wild battles)
- Must teach it a dragon move upon evolving and must have a dragon move from now on
- Must solo Yveltal
- After that, cannot use it until you reach Snowbelle
- Must solo Wulfric
- After all this has been done, you can teach it boomburst. Cannot learn boomburst before.

firedude750 have you ever done a Nuzlocke? If so, what is the nickname of one of the Pokemon that died?
I have not done one actually.

I would like to catch Yveltal actually, so can I do everything else but that?

i need 5 pokemon for my fire red scramble. will only hack up to 3 pokes [2 now, because of the 1 i already got] since im playing on emulator. want it to be medium difficulty. those are really my only restrictions. and no trades, since like i said, on emulator.

-playing on firered
-no trades
-on emulator
-i may hack in up to 3 pokes.
-legendaries allowed but must be a very hard difficulty for them
-medium difficulty

Mario, take DIVINITY the Articuno. DIVINITY is a proud legendary, so she only battles worthy opponents like gym leaders and the elite four. Other trainer battles are too weak and not worth her time. Also, she always knows that she'll win every single battle, so just to spite her opponents she'll take it easy on them and use a not very effective/immunity attack on them on the first turn. After laughing it off, she proceeds to use her full strength to defeat everything.

However that's only if you can catch her. DIVINITY hates the thought of being subservient to a puny human, so you must prove your worth by beating her five times with each of your other five Pokemon once each. After that, she will warm up to you so that you can catch her.

And of course, the only real worthy opponent in the game for her is your rival, so it has to take out his starter pokemon and two others before letting the others clean up the scraps.

Recap:

- DIVINITY the Articuno
- In order to get it, must solo it five times with your five other pokemon once each first.
- Can only battle gym leaders and elite four (NO wild encounters!)
- Must use not very effective move/immunity move on the first turn of each battle
- Must defeat the rivals starter and two other pokemon to win[/quote]

would i just have to save or save state to catch her? because she does go away after i kill it.

I want to do a scramble of platinum please, I will only accept pokemon that will be traded over if you can give me them (pokegen them if you have to) easy-medium difficulty because it's my first scramble, oh and apart from the starter, please don't give me something everyone uses.

Something easy that not everyone uses, huh? Take a Bronzor. Being a very sturdy pokemon, this one has complete confidence in its bulk and believes it doesn't need anything to help with that. He doesn't believe in "status moves" (he scoffs at the mere thought of using toxic), and has resolved to only use attacking moves. In order to evolve, it needs to become fully confident in its strength, as well, so it has to defeat any one gym-leader's pokemon by using only not-very-effective attacks. Good luck!
I stilll need 5 more scrambles for this! Firedude did I give you a scramble I can't remember

No you didn't. I'll trade you scramble for scramble :D

Take Dudebro the Floatzel. Dudebro is professional surfer, and that's all he knows. As such, once you get Surf, that is the only move he is able to use.

take joe the bunnelby, joe is completely average, as such it must only use basic attacks with no side effects. it must solo every pure normal type it sees but never a dual typed pokemon, it can evolve after soloing 10 pure normal types (trainer owned) i will accept dudebro

Ok so it can ONLY KO pure normal types, after it KOs 10 of those it can evolve, and after it evolves it can KO any pokemon?

Verxilo: the entire point of the challange is that you either pick a weak mon but get to use strong moves, or you take a strong mon that's limited to weak moves. The idea is that hopefully, this drives you to go looking for a diamond in the rough...which itself is kind of a side feature of all of these challange runs similar to how people discover they like Pokemon they never knew existed in Nuzlocke runs.

I'll post one for DestinyGallade in the morning.

Take Stall the Caterpie.

Stall had never been a confident one. He thinks that he's not strong enough to take out foes quickly enough. As such, Stall has to use String Shot once for every pokemon he battles. After continuous battling using this manner (he reaches level 7), he recognizes that he doesn't have to to be fast to win; he just needs to outlast. Therefore, he evolves into a Metapod.

As a Metapod... he can't really do anything but to boost his defenses (you don't have to use String Shot anymore), but that's a good thing. Using Harden makes him think that he's indestructible; therefore, he has to use Harden once for every pokemon he battles.

However, using Harden too much made breaking out of his shell difficult, meaning he only evolves into a Butterfree at Level 13 (you don't have to use Harden anymore). Now, Butterfree doesn't have any real form of damaging; he refuses to use the very weak tackle since he feels that it's weak. No, he has to fight using a style often underestimated: Stall. Meaning, the only moves Butterfree can use to KO are Status Moves, Weather, Draining moves, and Bug STAB (Silver Wind is at Level 47). Mimic is not allowed.

Now, he also feels a certain hatred for Poison-Types; Weedles are everywhere in Viridian Forest, which proves annoying to the Caterpies. Therefore, he has to solo the first 5 trainer-owned Poison-types you see in an area (Pokemon Tower, Celadon City, etc.). In accordance to this, he has to solo Koga and 3 of Agatha's as well.

Poison Powder
Sleep Powder
Stun Spore
Supersonic
Silver Wind
Toxic
Giga Drain
Dream Eater

To everyone, I'm gonna quote myself from last page:

Hey, guys! I have a lot free time lately, so I wanted to do an Emerald Scramble. I know the game like the back of my hand, so make it hard. I can trade, but only to evolve stuff if I have to. Also, I don't want insane grindfests, I want it to be challanging.

Mons I have:

Take Low the Lotad.

Low has always had a difficult time thinking of himself as very.. good. You see, at a young age he was rejected by Miror B. and his crew of Ludicolo, and ever since then he has wanted to prove that he is just as good as all other Water and Grass Pokémon that he can find. (Solo every Water and Grass Type in the game). One day, Low decided to hunt out a trainer to train him up. He saw you, and wanted you immediately. (You must catch the first MALE Lotad you fine, and on the earliest route possible) Lotad believes that Lombre are horrible dancers, and as such refuses to be one until he can use Mist to shroud his awful dancing from his opponents. (Cannot evolve until he learns Mist at level 21, can't delete it until he evolves into Ludicolo and must use it every time he enters the battle). He is a respectful Pokémon, and he understands that passion is the fire which leads to great dancing. As such, Low does not want to partake in any battles which could douse the flames of passion. (Lotad cannot battle Flannery, Winona, Juan or Glacia) Once Low evolves into Ludicolo he gets a new outlook on life. He sees some Lotad and he decides that no, they are not very good at dancing and he understand more now. (Change Low's name to "High" and make him defeat 5 Lotad). He wants to show off his dancing to everybody (Delete Mist), including Gym Leaders and Admins (Excluding Juan and Glacia, must KO at least on Pokemon on every Gym Leader's or Villainous Admins or Leader's teams). Finally, High really wants to impress Juan with his moves. (Make High solo Juan, no items may be used in-battle except for held items)
Memoric, you can has a Skitty. Its ability must be normali- oh, wait, it can't have normalize in Gen 3. To make up for it, your challenge with skitty is that it can only use normal-type moves. If it knows a move that isn't normal-type, you have to replace it as soon as possible with whatever TMs, HMs, move tutors, etc. that are available to you. Oh, and for it to evolve, it has to be in battle for five enemy ghost-type pokemon deaths. Since all of its moves are normal-type, this is near-impossible on its own. It needs the help of fellow pokemon with access to poisoning/burning attacks, or even just to sit in on a double battle. All you need is for the Skitty to see the death of 5 enemy ghost-types. As a Delcatty, it can finally learn one non-normal-type move...but it has to be Shadow Ball. Good luck!

TriBlock, Accepted, thanks!
I believe I only need two more!

Hulavuta's ______ the Unown
Can I get a summary please?
Jimera0's Brute the Shuckle
- No status moves other than those that boost Speed, Attack and Sp. Attack
- Only one move of each type at a time, must be highest BP move available to it
- Must fill moveset with 4 attacking moves or 3 attacking moves and 1 boosting move ASAP.
- Must solo 4 Johto Gym leader Pokemon, 3 E4/champion Pokemon and (assuming post-game) 3 Kanto Gym-leader Pokemon

LockesandKeys' Eli the Mareep
-Must learn Cotton Spore as soon as he gets it, and replace it with Cotton Guard once he gets it.
-Must carry a damage dealing Electric move
-Must carry thunder wave
-from Flaaffy onwards, you must lead with Cotton Spore/Guard against a pokemon with an odd amount of letters in its name and T-Wave against those with an even amount of letters. This rule doesn't apply vs. Ground types.
-Once Eli becomes Ampharos, you must give it Hyper Beam as soon as you get it.. he must use it at least once vs. all remaining GL/E4 members. Vs. Gl/E4 members with odd amount of letters in the name, use Hyper Beam twice. If they have even letters, you must use Hyper Beam vs. the first and solo the strongest.

And Triblock's Hercules the Heracross
-May only use special/status moves
-Must be switched in after a teammate faints
-May only use physical attacks in this situation

take judge the zigzagoon, judge is rather judgmental, this makes him unpopular with your teammates, he cannot fight in double battles. He also judges every encounter you meet, roll a die, if 1-3, kill the wild Mon, if 4-6 kill/catch it, you must do this for every wild Pokémon. It must also solo every leaders first mon, once again roll a die, if 1-3 solo the gym with judge, if 4-6 switch out. (this rule is lifted if one of your other scrambles must solo the gym) to evolve it must solo 2 gyms. When he evolves he realizes that he was being a real asshole to everyone, to make it up he must fight in every double battle and he has to share the exp. With everyone (via switch training or exp. Share) since hes a nice guy now, he hates the way Archie and maxie fight, he must solo maxie or Archie, your choice, and never battle the other one (this rule doesn't matter if hes still a zigzagoon) have fun!

OK! So... I am finally starting my scramble! This is my team and challenges:

Birdcrest

Verxilo take Eclipse the Sewaddle. Eclipse was born during a eclipse, and so has a strange fascination of the cosmos. To prove his power over the cosmos, he must solo Skyla. When you get to the Elite 4, Eclipse taps into the power of the cosmos and foretells the coming of evil. However, he needs a partner for that. So,
Eclipse must solo Caitlin to recruit her. Together, they foretell the coming of evil. When you see N, Eclipse
is confused. Eclipse sees into his heart, and N is not evil at all! However, Eclipse loves battle, so he must solo the capture of Reshiram(!). When that is done, he must strike the finishing blow on Ghetsis's Hydreigon, spraying good throughout Unova.
So:
*Eclipse the Sewaddle
*Must solo Skyla
*Must solo Caitlin
*Must solo the capture of Reshiram
*Must strike the finishing blow on Ghetsis's Hydreigon

Hulavuta
Take Scales the Sandile. Scales got his name not only because he is a reptile, but because he is constantly trying to tip the scales of battle in his favor. Scales always wants to make sure he has the advantage in a battle, so he cannot attack until he has achieved a 4 "point" advantage over his opponent. The points are decided by stat changes on his opponent and himself, regardless of which Pokemon caused it. He gets 1 point for every stat boost to himself, and 2 points for every stat decrease on his enemy. He loses 1 point for every stat boost his opponent has, and loses 1 point for every stat decrease he gets.

Examples of how this works:
1. He uses Leer twice, lowering the opponent's Defense by 1 stage two times, giving him 4 points.
2. The opponent uses Curse, which is +1 Attack, +1 Defense, -1 Speed. He loses 2 points for the Attack and Defense boosts, but gains 2 points for the Speed drop.

Remember that if he got points by lowering the stats of his opponent, after that opponent faints he will have to get points again, so generally increasing his own stats is a better idea.

Roadagain
I'll give you Bruce the Tynamo.
Tynamo is a pretty bad Pokemon, so it won't have any of these restrictions until it evolves.
Bruce can only have one Electric-type move, which is the only move it can use until the opponent is paralysed. In addition to this, it should always have Crunch as a move. (These are based on Eelektrik's Dex entry from BW2 and X)
Due to how evolutionary stones usually greatly hinder learning new moves, Bruce may not learn any new moves in any way after evolving into Eelektross.
Lastly, Eelektross must solo one E4 member of your choice (Obviously, if a different Pokemon is already required to solo someone, that's not an option.

Lightwind
Verxilo you get Deniapede the Venipede. Our poor buggy friend here is in full denial that he is, in fact a bug; therefore, he may not learn any bug type moves, and must solo all bug type Pokemon he sees, trainer and wild. He also shows no fear of Pokemon that are strong against bug, so if he finds himself in battle against a Fire, Flying or Rock type, he will refuse to be switched out.

To evolve, Deniapede must solo Burgh's gym. After seeing how cool his Whirlipede is, he'll be feeling a little better about his true self, so he must learn Steamroller when it becomes available (only after he evolves though).

However, Deniapede runs into a roadblock when your team reaches Skyla's gym. After (probably) spending most of the gym watching his teammates take down bird after bird, he gets really jealous and wants a turn for himself. He must solo Skyla, after which he realizes that hiding his bug typing is only hurting him in the end. From then on, he can evolve into Scoliopede, and must learn every bug-type move available to him when it arrives (X-Scissor via TMs, Megahorn if you have a heart scale). He no longer refuses to switch out upon seeing a Pokemon bug type is weak to, but he still feels the need to solo all bug Pokemon to prove his strength.

Recec
Verxillo, take Manuel the Klink.

Manuel, must do everything manually. Before attacking it must use a stat boosting move, or a move that can boost it's own stats (i.e. Charge Beam.)
Manuel can also only use physical attacks, aside from Charge Beam, which gets an exception because when you catch it, it might be the only set up move it has, it'll learn Automotzie at level 31, so replace Charge Beam with that.

Before attacking (damage dealing) Manuel must boost a stat.
Manuel is only allowed to use physical damage dealing moves.
> An exception is the move Charge Beam, because when they are caught Charge Beam might be the only boosting move they have access to (lower level Klink's have Charge) until learning Automotize.
> Automotize must replace Charge Beam, if he know it.

Shinyskarmory
Verxilo, since you didn't like the previous challange and I'm low on energy right now, take LOWBATTERY the whatever you want. LOWBATTERY, as his name might clue you in, is low on battery life, and has to choose what to use his limited power for. Depending on what pokemon you choose, he has to divert some of his battery life to powering his base stats, and some to powering his moves. LOWBATTERY's BST and total move power added together may not be greater then 700.

I know this is a complicated challange, so to assist you here's some example pokemon with legal and illegal movesets:

Salamence (600 BST)+Dragon Claw, Leer, Rage, Protect (100 BP)=700 (LEGAL)
Salamence (600 BST)+Double Edge (120 BP)=720 (ILLEGAL)

Smeargle (250 BST)+Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Leaf Storm, Tail Glow (360 BP)=610 (LEGAL)
Smeargle (250 BST)+V-Create, Doom Desire, Psycho Boost, Explosion (710 BP)=960 (ILLEGAL)

Wish me Luck!

take judge the zigzagoon, judge is rather judgmental, this makes him unpopular with your teammates, he cannot fight in double battles.
Regarding the bolded part above, do I roll a die before the gym, or on the gym leader (soloing the leader in the process with the dice roll)?

Regardless, accepted (first two gyms are Rock and Fighting lol).

My Scramble so far:

Sandshrew:
-Must always know Defense Curl and Sand Attack
-Can't attack unless it uses defense curl once per switch-in and sand attack once per enemy pokemon
Spinarak:
-Must know Constrict, String Shot, Spider Web, and Poison Sting
-To evolve, must solo Bugsy
-Must be the first spinarak I find
Bird Satan (Spearow):
-Cannot be the lowest level in my (scramble) team
-Cannot use any moves that Pidgeot can learn
-> Can only learn: Drill Peck, False Swipe, Fury Attack, Growl, Leer, Scary Face, Sonicboom, Whirlwind

I only need 3 more! Oh, and if I haven't given any of you a scramble and you still need one, lemme know and I'll give you one c:

i dont think you gave me 1 and i need 3 more. make it medium difficulty though

mario12321: You can have a Zubat. It has to be the first Zubat you find in Mt. Moon (use save states?). After catching it you must keep track of the number of wild zubats you encounter throughout the rest of Mt. Moon. For every two zubats you find, you must wait another level past Lv22 to evolve your Zubat into a Golbat. Oh, and no Repels allowed.

Good luck!

-named Pika
- DIVINITY the Articuno
- In order to get it, must solo it five times with your five other pokemon once each first.
- Can only battle gym leaders and elite four (NO wild encounters!)
- Must use not very effective move/immunity move on the first turn of each battle
- Must defeat the rivals starter and two other pokemon to win
-named Stall
-has to use string shot once every pokemon battle
-at level 7, evolve caterpie into metapod
-after metapod, use harden once every pokemon battle
-at level 13, evolve into butterfree
-cant use tackle
-use status, weather, draining, or silver wind
