Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Back from the dead!

birdcrest, take a female Ponyta/Rapidash and name it whatever you want, so long as you give her a nickname to differentiate her from the army of Ponyta you'll be catching. She's a pro affirmative action type and is very, very annoyed that there isn't an equal representation of Fire types in Sinnoh. After all, there's only two; Ponyta and Chimchar.

Ponyta doesn't want you to think that she only got on your team because she was fire type, though. She's absolutely not deadweight, which is why you can never have her hold the Exp. Share OR be the lowest level in the party. She also knows what good fortune she had to be selected over all the other crappy mons in Sinnoh to be on your team, and she wants to spread it to everyone else. As long as they're fire type, of course. Every time you encounter a wild Ponyta, you MUST capture it. If you fail to capture it, Ponyta will not fight for you for 1 hour of in game time. After that one route where Ponytas are practically raining from the sky, you'll have a lot of them sitting around. Use your collection of Ponytas to solo Byron.

Have a nice run!
Hey dude! Would you mind giving me and my friend one too? Thank you!

Verxilo, since I can't seem to find your entire team while going back pages, I'm giving you a quick one that will work regardless of what your team looks like now.

Congratulations! You got another mon. Except...this one seems to always run away. Name it Singed1.

By run away, I don't mean from battle. I mean from you. You see, he/she/it isn't a coward, but they also don't like to be managed. So every 24 hours of real life time, Singed runs away from you and doesn't come back. Once a Singed runs away, you must replace him immediately with the first wild pokemon you find on the nearest available route. Name that pokemon Singed2. When that one runs away, name the next pokemon Singed3...you get the point. However, if you successfully solo all the trainers in a gym excepting the Leader with Singed, he will stick around an additional 24 hours for a maximum of 48.

You may wonder what reason there is to even used Singed if every one you get runs away. There's an important one. You see, the large number of used Singed pokeballs has begun to fill up your bag. At the beginning of the journey, you could fit only 15 healing items in your bag, enough to get you to the next pokemon center. Each time a Singed runs away, more of your bag is filled by wasted Pokeballs, reducing the number of healing items you can use in between Pokemon Center visits by one. That means, of course, that once you reach Singed15, you may no longer use healing items FOR THE REST OF THE GAME. You may always heal normally at pokemon centers, use TMs and HMs, and use pokeballs and other items normally (otherwise, how would you capture more Singeds?).

Since your friend isn't a Smogonite, it's time that we educate him. Specifically on what makes a good moveset. But it's not enough to just have him memorize the good movesets-we need to teach him why the bad movesets are bad.

Your friend gets a Mudkip. Name it New Guy (or girl i guess lol). New Guy has looked upon Smogon, and found it wanting. He has declared that since everyone lieks him but doesn't know what he's truly capable of, he'll have to show them. The hard way. New Guy may never learn any move that is used in any of the sets in Swampert's Gen 3 analysis. Here's a list:

Earthquake
Ice Beam
Hydro Pump
Surf
Toxic
Curse
Protect
Roar
Rest
Sleep Talk
Endeavor
Substitute

To make New Guy into a seasoned pro, you'll have to get him some experience as well. New Guy must be sent out first against every Gym Leader and Elite Four member, and must survive for 3 turns without any healing items. After that, your friend may soft reset and solo the gym if a solo was assigned; if a solo was not assigned, he can simply keep fighting the battle as is.

I hope you both have fun!

I think my friend will like that challenge you gave him. Here's the big problem... I can't deal with that challenge. The idea of Pokemon running away and not being able to use healing items at all is just too stressful for me. I'm sorry but I must decline.

i need 5 pokemon for my fire red scramble. will only hack up to 3 pokes [2 now, because of the 1 i already got] since im playing on emulator. want it to be medium difficulty. those are really my only restrictions. and no trades, since like i said, on emulator.

-named Pika

-playing on firered
-no trades
-on emulator
-i may hack in up to 3 pokes.
-legendaries allowed but must be a very hard difficulty for them

Hey, guys! I have a lot free time lately, so I wanted to do an Emerald Scramble. I know the game like the back of my hand, so make it hard. I can trade, but only to evolve stuff if I have to. Also, I don't want insane grindfests, I want it to be challanging.

Take Low the Lotad.

Low has always had a difficult time thinking of himself as very.. good. You see, at a young age he was rejected by Miror B. and his crew of Ludicolo, and ever since then he has wanted to prove that he is just as good as all other Water and Grass Pokémon that he can find. (Solo every Water and Grass Type in the game). One day, Low decided to hunt out a trainer to train him up. He saw you, and wanted you immediately. (You must catch the first MALE Lotad you fine, and on the earliest route possible) Lotad believes that Lombre are horrible dancers, and as such refuses to be one until he can use Mist to shroud his awful dancing from his opponents. (Cannot evolve until he learns Mist at level 21, can't delete it until he evolves into Ludicolo and must use it every time he enters the battle). He is a respectful Pokémon, and he understands that passion is the fire which leads to great dancing. As such, Low does not want to partake in any battles which could douse the flames of passion. (Lotad cannot battle Flannery, Winona, Juan or Glacia) Once Low evolves into Ludicolo he gets a new outlook on life. He sees some Lotad and he decides that no, they are not very good at dancing and he understand more now. (Change Low's name to "High" and make him defeat 5 Lotad). He wants to show off his dancing to everybody (Delete Mist), including Gym Leaders and Admins (Excluding Juan and Glacia, must KO at least on Pokemon on every Gym Leader's or Villainous Admins or Leader's teams). Finally, High really wants to impress Juan with his moves. (Make High solo Juan, no items may be used in-battle except for held items)

Memoric, you can has a Skitty. Its ability must be normali- oh, wait, it can't have normalize in Gen 3. To make up for it, your challenge with skitty is that it can only use normal-type moves. If it knows a move that isn't normal-type, you have to replace it as soon as possible with whatever TMs, HMs, move tutors, etc. that are available to you. Oh, and for it to evolve, it has to be in battle for five enemy ghost-type pokemon deaths. Since all of its moves are normal-type, this is near-impossible on its own. It needs the help of fellow pokemon with access to poisoning/burning attacks, or even just to sit in on a double battle. All you need is for the Skitty to see the death of 5 enemy ghost-types. As a Delcatty, it can finally learn one non-normal-type move...but it has to be Shadow Ball. Good luck!

Also, I still need 5 more pokemon for my gold scramble, please!

I want to do a scramble of platinum please, I will only accept pokemon that will be traded over if you can give me them (pokegen them if you have to) easy-medium difficulty because it's my first scramble, oh and apart from the starter, please don't give me something everyone uses.

Something easy that not everyone uses, huh? Take a Bronzor. Being a very sturdy pokemon, this one has complete confidence in its bulk and believes it doesn't need anything to help with that. He doesn't believe in "status moves" (he scoffs at the mere thought of using toxic), and has resolved to only use attacking moves. In order to evolve, it needs to become fully confident in its strength, as well, so it has to defeat any one gym-leader's pokemon by using only not-very-effective attacks. Good luck!

Take Dudebro the Floatzel. Dudebro is professional surfer, and that's all he knows. As such, once you get Surf, that is the only move he is able to use.

bach is an inspiring composer who wants to create the most beautiful symphony ever, after he evolves he can only use sound moves, he wants to prove himself to the master preformer fantina so he must solo her mismagious

Accepted, and of course I'll scramble you back!
DestinyGallade, take a Combee, name it Loner. Loner is a rogue insect, with no hive to call home. As such, she is always wandering. You may never use loner in two consecutive battles, as she wanders off to be alone after a battle. As pesticides killed off her previous hive members, she has a fear of man made items; you may only use berries on her. (You may not use TMs either.) After fighting the first gym leader after getting her, she realizes she must overcome her fear to avenge her hive; use five man made items on her, then she can evolve. As a Vespiquen, however, she cannot use her signature moves (attack order, heal order, defend order) due to not having a hive.
take Smelter the Magmar
Smelter used to work at the Fuego Ironworks, but then suddenly he was retrenched and has been bitter about it ever since. At first he does not have the confidence to use Fire-type attacks, however, if he gets his revenge by soloing the trainers at the Fuego Ironworks, he rebuilds his courage and is ready to smelt as much metal as possible! He must now solo every Steel-type you come across, and must do so using only Lava Plume, because Lava is hotter than any other fire. (Lava Plume is also the only Special fire-type move you are allowed). To evolve into Magmortar, he must solo the entire Canalave gym, including Byron, using only Lava Plume (you are allowed to use the Pokemon Centre only when Lava Plume runs out of PP). When he evolves, he gains his impressive cannons, which he thinks would be a waste not to use, and so he must learn either Flamethrower or Fire Blast. However, he is still only allowed to use Lava Plume against Steel-types, and still must always switch in to beat them.
Also I should add that if he ever loses to a Steel-type (except for Byron's pokemon), he becomes depressed and must defeat 10 wild steel-types without fire-type moves to regain his confidence
Good Luck!
Get Ourea the Turtwig.
This Turtwig is all about the glamorous contests. He/she isn't content with just one type of contest, of course. As such, Ourea's moves may never be of the same Contest type (Cool, Cute, Smart, Tough, Beauty). Since this Turtwig aspires to be the very best in terms of contests, it will not use the same move twice in a row, for the sake of practice.
To evolve into Grotle, Ourea must solo Fantina, since she is the very top of the Super Contest food chain.
In order to evolve into Torterra, Ourea must win all five Normal Rank Contests.

I'm accepting both of the two, Low the Lotad and the Skitty. It'd be cool if Skitty had a custom nickname TriBlock , for novelty's sake :P

Okay, Memoric, if it's a male skitty name it Ominou, and if it's a female name it Eeria (based on Ominous and Eerie, because of its relation to ghost-types). Or you could pick either name for either gender if you like one more.

thanks but could you give it a nickname?

heheh, erryone wants nicknames, all I want is 5 more pokemon for my challenge :x

Name the Bronzor Groose, because it's extremely self-confident.

I feel like doing a Pokemon Gold scramble. I haven't scrambled in such a long time, this should be fun c:

Rules for my scramble:
  • Moderate difficulty
  • I can't trade, this is on an emulator
  • Unless the pokemon can't live without its given nickname, I'll be naming them myself
  • I'll be playing an emulator with speed-up on so grinding is allowed, but nothing too extreme
  • I need to be able to use Surf, Waterfall, Strength, and Fly (the basic required HMs)
  • My rival will have Feraligatr no matter what
  • I might have forgotten stuff so I'll edit this post if I remember

take a spinarak, this spinarak must be the first spinarak you encounter. This spinarak loves trapping foes and killing them with its fatal venom, it must learn constrict, spider web and string shot ASAP its other move must be poising sting so that he can kill his prey with venom after he traps them. you must solo bugsy with those moves to evolve. As an ariados it hates cowards, so it must solo at the radio tower team rocket because he believes their cowards, he believes he's the strongest of his kind so he must take out kogas ariados. Have Fun!

hi this is a hide tag, use this to hide shit

Verxilo, since you didn't like the previous challange and I'm low on energy right now, take LOWBATTERY the whatever you want. LOWBATTERY, as his name might clue you in, is low on battery life, and has to choose what to use his limited power for. Depending on what pokemon you choose, he has to divert some of his battery life to powering his base stats, and some to powering his moves. LOWBATTERY's BST and total move power added together may not be greater then 700.

I know this is a complicated challange, so to assist you here's some example pokemon with legal and illegal movesets:
Salamence (600 BST)+Dragon Claw, Leer, Rage, Protect (100 BP)=700 (LEGAL)
Salamence (600 BST)+Double Edge (120 BP)=720 (ILLEGAL)

Smeargle (250 BST)+Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Leaf Storm, Tail Glow (360 BP)=610 (LEGAL)
Smeargle (250 BST)+V-Create, Doom Desire, Psycho Boost, Explosion (710 BP)=960 (ILLEGAL)

TriBlock, take Bird Satan the Spearow->Fearow. Unlike its counterpart Bird Jesus the Pidgeot who carried 80,000 people through a game of Red, Bird Satan is in it to sabotage your team. He may never be the lowest level and may never use any moves the Pidgeot line can learn. Have fun!

DestinyGallade: Wow, a spinarak with bad moves. Guess I'll have to grind a lot! Accepted.

shinyskarmory: Interesting challenge :o I went through all the moves and it seems the only moves I can teach Bird Satan are these:
Drill Peck, False Swipe, Fury Attack, Growl, Leer, Scary Face, Sonicboom, Whirlwind
Also, what do I do about catching it? I mean, since I probably won't be getting a starter pokemon, I could catch it at whatever level and assume it's the highest level in my party (imagining my starter doesn't exist until I put it in the pc).

I meant your scramble party.

If you catch it and it's the lowest level when you catch it obviously you can take a rain check there as long as you get it leveled up.

YAY! My final scramble mon is here! Thank you! Accepted and added to my list.

EDIT: Actually, can i make it so that it's BST and BP separately and it's a lower total? Thank you!

This is for Y version, need 5 more, no starters please!
