Need help with egg moves for hasty magmortar pick 3 to go with cross chop..ive narrowed it down to t punch, flare blitz, dynamic punch, belly drum, and mach punch
thunderpunch for water types, flare blitz for stab (or did you plan on using flamethrower/fire blast bc of hasty nature?) and then mach punch for priority :)
I would say Mach punch for some revenge / priority. Tpunch to check water. Flare blitz for stab fire. You can use drum over cross chop Imo if you have some good recovery and use Mach punch

But if he's planning on using Flare Blitz, and then also has Belly Drum, he's lucky if he can get 1-2 flare blitzes before he dies xD
I do like Belly Drum though as a move (slurpuff + azumarill <3), but combined with a recoil move.. I don't know..?
If he runs sitrus berry it should be ok. Just needs to find a setup. With the drum, you wanna use Mach punch as much as possible to avoid getting hit. Flare blitz would only be used in emergencies. +6 Mach punch with the correct investment would destroy. But I guess it would work better with Adamant or Jolly.
Edit: or as you said, maybe he can use flamethrower or fire blast to utilize the special attack base stat. But I can still see him being a good drum user. I use an Adamant azumarill, but mortar has higher base Atk and speed stats. His hp is lower, but shouldn't be an issue when he gets a drum off safely

If its hasty, wouldn't thunderbolt be better then thunderpunch?
Perhaps consider earthquake and focus blast too
he's looking at egg moves for breeding I believe. Just so he has more options down the line

So I am going to RNG Dream Radar Thundurus and Landorus (RNGd Tornadus yesterday and now collecting more orbs)-
What IV spread do you guys suggest?
For Landorus, I am thinking either Naive or Timid/Modest HP Ice perhaps? I already have a Jolly Landorus from my original Black game, but I wanted a special attacking one :)
For Thundurus, either Naive HP Flying or HP water (in a rain team). Or should I go timid?
I do not as of yet have a plan on what types of team members should be used with these, so suggestions for the best spreads that could be used on most teams would be appreciated :)

Magmortar can learn Thunder Punch by itself, so do Cross Chop/Belly Drum/Mach Punch/Flare Blitz (Dynamic Punch is terrible on anything not named Machamp/Machoke/Machop/Golett/Golurk).

Tbh I'm tired of using Rotom W/H all the time lol. I specifically didn't want to use him on this team lol.
If you're looking for something fun to destroy Talonflame, Relicanth is a good option (need more love for ancient coelacanth pokemon!) that gives zero shits about Talonflame (even when burned, Head Smash annihilates it).
252 Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Relicanth: 85-101 (24.9 - 29.6%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Relicanth: 70-83 (17.3 - 20.5%) -- possible 5HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Talonflame Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Relicanth: 35-41 (8.6 - 10.1%) -- possibly the worst move ever (damage calc actually says this, too)
0 Atk Relicanth Head Smash vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 780-924 (261.7 - 310%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Interesting. Never thought of relicanth. Seems like he'd be fun to use :-). Not worried about talonflame specifically, since Hippowdon walls it and then kills with rock slide. But relicanth seems to have good typing. I'll try it out to see what I think. What do people think about the greninja/Starmie though? I'm currently psychic weak with Weezing and heracross.

I know what you mean man lol. Keldeo could also work, but yeah your already alittle weak to psychic.
Greninja and Starmie are both great pokes of course. But what about Bisharp? I assume you set up rocks with hippo and toxic spikes with weezing? Bisharp would scare defog users

Note that I take no responsibility for Relicanth being otherwise mediocre in OU. But if it turns out to be good, then credit is nice. n_n
Actually I don't have any hazards setters. I run whirlwind, rock slide, slack off, equake on my Hippowdon. Weezing is literally the most fun guy on my team. I run Sludge bomb, stockpile, rest, and will o wisp. Basically burn anything that switches in and set up a stockpile or two. Rest, chesto berry for heal, then stockpile and rest again. I beat a team of garchomp, tflame, and mega kangaskhan in an online rating battle with him alone lol. People just don't expect it :-P
Edit I will also look into bisharp. He sounds fun :-)
Edit 2: evan0913 I will probably go with bisharp or one of the water pokes I listed. Bisharp takes care of fairies for goodra and heracross, takes care of psychic for heracross and Weezing. Shares weakness to fire with heracross though, as well as a 4x fight weakness :-/
