Most Aegislash don't run Sacred Sword in VGC, reason being Intimidate is really common in a very physical oriented meta. The most common set is King's Shield, Sub, Shadow Ball and Flash Cannon, which means Pyroar is inmune to one stab and resists the other.

Again, no Mawile set in VGC runs Swords Dance unlike in OU singles.

Sheesh, you'd think that by this point after the game was released that more people would be rocking solid teams...I mean, for the record folks, this is more of a fun tournament than anything else. Held over YouTube, so each battle is gonna be uploaded and viewable, though there is supposed to be a prize at the end. Right now the host of the tournament is straining to find the last few participants, so I'm trying to help out.

Funny actually, one 2014 regionals team used Delphox, one used Pyroar.

If I had a way to upload battle videos decent quality I would be doing that already. I have a few I would love to share to the general publuc. (Like this one Guy I trolled using mostly my Swampert. He even had a chance to KO it, and he used THUNDER PUNCH. *shakes head*
But my ONLY complete Solid Team has Mega Gengar and Zygarde as a Gimmick/Fun Pokemon (which is for the VGC Tournament starting tomorrow). I have about 3+ in progerss being made. Before I got a 6 IV Ditto, breeding took an eternity. Also, EV Training and spreading Pokerus can take some time even with the Horde Battle Method.
 
Hey guys i'm looking to breed a new competitive team and like a lot of stuff that isn't in OU. What's the lowest acceptable tier to draft from? Obviously UU has some reasonable choices

Not being able to upload battle videos isn't a problem. Remember, this is Gen 6. You'd be sharing the battle video with the tournament host, and from there he would upload it onto his own channel.

Besides, the tournament needs a few fun gimmick teams here and there. Lord knows it can get dull if literally everyone if using the same strategies.

I'm more of a breeder anyway. I battle on Showdown TBH.

Still need to get them to Level 50, as I'm betting it is using Smogon's format correct? Because if it is: I am out a Mega Lucario/Mega Gengar. If I can finish though, then fine what the heck.

Ok, this is getting pretty ridiculous and I think we both should stop before Agonist calls us out.

I'm not going to counter-argue any more unless you want to continue via PMs.

I just wanted to let the guy know that Pyroar has its uses and I really did not agree on the way a couple of you guys pointed out Pyroar as trash, that is all.
