What they said is true, tony. It's impossible to capture a clefairy with a love ball on FRLG.
Unless if it was a mistake and you actually meant to put a heal ball sprite, no?

yeah. its impossible to catch in gen 2 and bring it to gen 3, but after gen 3 all is ok. it was a mistake, it is in heal ball and from gen 3 mt moon
do some more research and you'll figure it out

Exactly, and it's got a gen 3 move tutor move, and heal ball is not available in gen 3 :(
It's a hack no matter which pink ball it's in :/

I'm afraid tatertot, Trevenant forest, Lockiegengar12, and the others are right.
Not only impossible to capture a clefairy with a love on the 3rd gen, it's also impossible to capture it with a heal ball in the 3rd gen. The Heal ball doesn't come out until the 4th gen. :(

I don't think that's legitiment. I think that's what we call.... ummm... cheating, no?
If I'm not mistaking, I think that's pretty much like using an AR cheat code to get a cherish ball to capture a pokemon on the 4th or 5th gen. Which is considered breaking the rules here on smogon. :(
