Aside from the aesthetics, Luxury and Friend Ball help with those pokemon that evolve through happiness like pichu/togepi/riolu.
It could have a small amount of utility depending on the situation, but it probably wouldn't be as effective on a pokemon like Furfrou.

Looking for a Swirlix with the hidden ability. I can offer a shiny geodude or Vanillite. If it would be possible, I'd also like to trade back my Machoke to evolve it to Machamp.

It depends on what your team needs.
Another option is to run a mixed attacker with a sassy nature holding
an assault. Or holding leftovers if you're running stealth rocks.
I've never tried out an impish nature,or any choice items on Tyranitar. I might try using choice item sometime.
