Dude, I joined like yesterday. I don't understand any of that stuff.
Which Nature is best for a Trevant that runs the following moves item and Ability for Doubles in VGC:
Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
- Horn Leech
- Shadow Claw
- Phantom Force
- Trick Room
I was thinking Brave with 0 Speed (I planned on partnering it with my Megazard Y) and Evs of 252/HP & ATK and 6 in DEF, but I don't know if that is best or not here. And there isn't an analysis on this set-up so I really appreciate some second opinions please.

... If thats too complicated then i'd get the idea of dominating battles out of your plans. Pick you favorites for now, play alot of wifi battle, and pick up on what the other guy is doing to win. Here's something simpler I can say as a tip. Try to have diverse types. For example dont have 4 dragons on the same team, when you could have a dragon, a water type, an electric type, and a steel type.
Calm nature can be a viable build on a mantine. It's already got a base 140 Sp Defense, so it would make it a very bulky wall on the special side. :)
Battling 101 is the place you might wanna check out then if your a newcomer to competitive play. There are mentors from that section that can help you out to learn the ropes of competitive play! To learn more, check out their Smogon Apprentice Program.
Dude i really like the idea of Mantine. If his HP was just a bit higher. He's great typing, because he has ground immunity, and painfully obvious predictions for incoming electric attacks allowing for easy ground/ volt absorb switch ins. Water absorb is also cool

Maybe I can elaborate a little bit. If you want to start doing competitive battling the first thing you need to think about is team structure. A good structure for starting out is to have 4 Pokemon dedicated to attacking and 2 for defending. For your attacking Pokemon you want to have 2 that are physical attackers and have the other 2 be special attackers. Having the split between physical and special attackers is to prevent your entire offense getting walled by a Pokemon in your opponent's defense. Now for your defensive Pokemon you want one that can take physical hits and one that can take special hits so you can try and wall your opponent's offensive Pokemon. Hope this helped :)
Also as Mecha said Battling 101 is a great place to start out.
Yeaa theyre good dragon counters. Check out sylveon for a wall to take hits, and Azumarill for strong fast priority hits with aqua jet and huge power

Hey friend this is a VERY new pokemon player. He/ she is still learning what a sweeper is so we tried to redirect them to Battling 101. Btw got any Cresselia?
I can trade you a Rough skin gible, give me half an hour to breed a few more. If you have a Shadow Tag gothitelle or regenerator Amoongus it would make my day.
